Biggest letdown in lottery history - what's yours?
Hi Carhauler, I recommend buying your tickets at Publix. its the only consistant retailer where huge winners come out of all the time. gas stations are also good. $5 and $10 tickets have the same odds for $5k and $10k. $20 tics have little better odds, especially $500

Texas: 9/1 - 9/30/2011
Yup centsless I never did get on this triple trip It was just to many people on it I played it every now and then but thats it. Tonight I'm thinking all odds or evens. Im focusing on doubles or false doubles. The only thing about false doubles is they are not all evens or odds well if I were to play false doubles I'd go with 738, and for odd or even doubles I 'd go with your pairs 44, 77, 99

I Love New York September
Your exactly right Long...They way they came up with the 5M max is the fact that they take in roughly between 2-4 Million a day on numbers and win4, and usually only payout a pittance of that amount. They can live with a soldout number hitting as often as the odds will allow, which, as you know, isn't very often compared to the overall odds. Even when they go statistically bonkers against them, they will more than make up for it in the long run. Yes, they are statistically due and in m

Florida Fantasy 5 vs. Florida Scratchers
Out of all of the FL Lottery games, Fantasy5 is probably my favorite. It seems the most attainable vs scratchers. Over the past 2 years I've been following patterns of Fantasy 5 very closely and only play when I feel a pattern is due. Once I get locked on a due pattern, I will play that pettern until it hits. That narrows down my odds and gives me the ability to have a better chance. Although any # can hit any night, I firmly believe it's best to play patterns, because once that pattern does

Gold Rush Tripler
GOOD JOB! Finding this info James ! Looks like much better odds on most of the big prizes. Still the odds for $500 beats the other scratchers. The top prize is sure an odd one at $1,950,000. That stack of coins for a triple win is great. Can you find out how many tickets will be issued at the start and how many top prizes there are ?? Wish the Fl Lot would have that grid showing ALL lower tier prizes available !! Thanks

Help me undertsand odds
If you know how many Top prizes were available when the game started, you just multiply that # x the odds. For example, if there were 10 Top Prizes of $300,000, then you Multiply 10 x 4,233,600 = 42,336,000 tickets printed for that game total.?? This is quite irrelevant. My first post clearly spells out among how many tickets. I have better odds of verifying whether my assertion is correct or not by 5th a grader math student.

Why Do Mathematicians Consider The Lottery Random
Ok. Hang on. You're completely misrepresenting what I said. I even DID say that it IS POSSIBLE - but that in my opinion it isn't true. I've said multiple times that every system I've seen tested has turned out to be false - and so I don't BELIEVE it's true. I've said that there is some small chance that we are wrong, Statistics and Probability as we know it today are wrong, but that the burden of proof is on YOU and other like minded people to prove it, because the laws of probability that peopl

Why Do Mathematicians Consider The Lottery Random
I didn't mean to sound so obnoxious - it's just that there's math behind things, and subjective observations shouldn't be the idealogy behind any sort of way to beat the odds reliably. The only examples of people who have beaten Casinos consistently with their house edges between 1-6 percent are people who change the probabilities in their favor, or their wagers according to the probabilities that present themselves - sometimes putting themselves at a higher risk. But nobody has been abl
