Here is my thought on the new tickets and I did buy the last 10 in the pack of the Cherry Slots today. I had (1) $20 winner. It is in the car, but I forget the #. It was between 050-054 though(the last 5 I have inside to scratch). Well 3 cherries gives you 3X the money.. Well that means if you see 3 cherries, you know you can't get $1,000 or even the $100,000 prize. I remember when I worked at the grocery store in the 90's they made pamphlets for each game and the break down of all winning combo

NY Scratch-off Discussion
I have never lost 6 in a row on the $30 ticket from what I remember. I think my biggest losing streak (keep in mind I buy this ticket often) was 2 tickets.
Not trying to get personal here, but I must ask what you do for a living to be losing $500+ almost everyday? It'd be one thing if you had a previous $5K win or something and you're spending profit, but it seems like you just keep losing, buying, losing etc.
James: The NY scratch-offs are actually not bad, they have the highest jackpots

Interest In Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
I too believe such a system can exist, as I do believe in systems (methodologies ) and I do believe that one can improve their results over the random odds by use of such a system. Now, if my lousy math is correct, for the cash 5 game I play (5/32), the odds of a 4/5 ($200) is 1/1492, 3/5 ($10) 1/57, and 2/5 ($1) 1/7. So, unless I am wrongly figuring this, on average $1492 should randomly yield approximately $673, or 45%, meaning I should get back about $45 out of every $100.
Based on that, I

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
Over the years, many pick3 players after reading my posts about trying to develop a winning system for the jackpot games, PM me to ask why I never tried doing the same for a pick3 game which had much better odds of winning the top prize. Many of them even thought it would be easier to work with a pick3 game first and move up to the pick4, pick5 and jackpot games after some success.
What they failed to realize is the 50% payback in prize money for all lottery games means winning money back is

There is pairs from: 1-5 or 6-0 Everyday in Every State XX0 or 0XX: Why havent you won
Yes, it's true that you'd get at least two numbers right with your method.
But it's not helpful, not does it defy the odds. It in fact, is a direct result of the odds, which is why he called it B.S.
Again, it's like saying that playing 000-999 straight will results in a straight win all of the time.

New National Game - What Should It Be?
Powers that be care about what we think ??????
Me thinks you are smoking something to go with the Jack. LOL.
I think we will end up with MM and PB merging into one game with bigger jackpots, bigger odds, bigger cost to play. I don't know what I would prefer except maybe go to a game without a bonus ball. Frankly, it probably doesn't matter what configuration the game is, the odds are such that it's near impossible to win anyway they make it.

THE LOTTERY BEST KEPT SECRET=Buying more than one ticket increases your chances of winning?
Your odds remain the same for every ticket that you have. It is not a cumulative thing.
But since you hold more than one ticket, your odds of winning have increased.
Right?

I've never thought of the Prediction Board as a generator of tickets sales or money for the lotteries but just something for the entertainment and amusement of LP members. Since most posters never win much anyway, you would probably be better off just buying some QPs.
I have been watching the predictions for the Ohio Classic Lotto since its jackpot has been above $25M and I've noticed that as a group the LP predictors seldom match the odds of getting a match 3 which is 1/57 and often do worst

You would think that even if someone had won $100, on a new game they would give you at least something decent after 10-15 tickets. If the state really does put more hundreds in, they are making up for it big time with horrible odds. Did you know that the 1 in 4.86 odds on Whole Lotta Hundreds are like a $1 ticket?
I'll try to keep positive about the Cash Extravaganza - though I thought my numbers of #005 and #012 were good. But they both lost.
I've gotten 6 Phillies tickets with only one
