New Lottery
The administrator is the government, not one person who works for them. The government is always the biggest beneficiary of the lottery. They supposedly use the money to fund education, healthcare and other government programs. It seems like we're getting a little off topic, I was just simply asking if there would be any interest in a lottery with better odds for large jackpots. Some of the largest jackpots in the world like Powerball and Euro Millions have astronomical odds of winning.

With: $700,000 you got: 98.9% of winning Powerball if you lose you get your money back
I think you are mixing apples with peaches which you cannot do in this case. Your odds on a 24-way Pick 4 are 1 in 417 that you will match your 4 numbers (0-9) in any combination from 0000-9999. Odds of matching 5 out of 5 with 59 White Balls with no PB is 1 in 5,006,386. $5,006,386 is a far cry from $30,240. Good Luck Best Wishes To You.

Lover found lottery winner's body
Yes, we did vote for the lottery. We also voted to cease funding services for illegal aliens (Prop 187). We voted to ban gay marriage (Talk about fruitcakes..), but somehow these measures were overturned in the appellate courts. I think you may be able to pull a small amount of wool away from your eyes, and possibly discern how the California legislative/judicial process works. Put simply: What liberals DON'T WANT, we DON'T GET! You might also remember that the Lotto was a 6/49 winning combinati

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
I go by the lot number not the number listed on the front of the packet. You'll also find that Larger Metro style areas have more winning tickets so keep the mass's happy. See that more often then not. Its horrendous that you used to be able to get qty: 5 Two dollar tickets and hit at least one winner, Now you gotta buy at least Qty: 4 (five dollar) tickets to just get a free ticket comparable prize. PA is also Lessening its Grand Prize pots...Used to get 75 k for grandprize in 5$ ticket, now

You, your state's lottery director!
I would get rid of Cash 5 and bring in a pick 5 game numbers game like PA's Quinto. Cash 5 has a payout of about $22,000 on average, is paramutuel, and odds of 435,897 to 1. It sucks. Quinto has a payout of 50K and odds of 100,000 to 1. No paramutuel. Of course, it's not that easy in Tx. There has to be public comments periods, and discussions and such before they do anything about anything.

actually is 6 tickets if you take away the triplets/triads... $6 dollars....plus hot and cold, even/odds.... after you add the: plus hot and cold, even/odds it should come out to: $2 [2 tickets] however is better to go with: $5 [5 tickets] because remember, the lottery is a ghost in a: 3,000 room mansion...if you read what i have said previously...

Raffles, IL halloween coming up. Is it better to buy like 10 at a time once a week or one a day?
These raffles are awful. And the public isnt buying it anymore as many of these state raffles now go unsold. People dont like buying tickets and then holding on to them for weeks and then maybe longer as some states like Michigan cant sell em out and push the dates back. Remember these raffles still only have a 50% payout. Your better off playing instants that might have a 70% payout or higher. The line best odds to be a millionaire are so misleading. On a dollar per dollar basis your odds per d

Ohio Classic Lotto jackpot looking good again
You've obviously had read the Ohio lottery website and know that Classic Lotto is a 6/49 game played every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Ohio had a local jackpot game before PowerBall and MegaMillions existed. At one time Ohio jackpot game was one the most popular games in the country and attracted players from all the neighboring states and payed out jackpots of $60-$80 M+. PowerBall was created to help smaller states compete with such games. Then BigGame (later changed to MegaMillions) wa
