Are we fooled to believe that there's a system?
I believe there is a system or pattern that can greatly increase the odds of winning. What is required is a fresh approach that derives numbers from something we haven't considered before. I have solved many problems by simply taking steps to visualize the data and to then transform the data by some known quantities no matter how simple, complex, or sparse this information may be. It is then possible to optimize your approach and perhaps remove or extract only the data you need to solve your pro

Pick 6 Strategy - Need help
LuckyPB, Ohio has a Classic Lotto (6/49) game too and now that MegaMillions has reset to a $12M jackpot, I may play it for the next couple of drawings. The odds of winning anything in OCL are 1:54 so buying $20 worth of QP would only improve my odds of winning something to 1:3, even buying 54 QPs wouldn't guarantee a match3 which pays $2. To guarantee a match3, I would have to play a wheel that has at least a 3 number combination for all 13,983,816 possible combinations and the smallest such

What do you do to Increase your Odds of Winning?
I'm just expressing my view. If you think you have a system that can predict which balls will bounce out of a drum then fantastic. I've been looking through past posts, history of predictions here and some of you have been trying these systems for over 7-8 years with no big win. Tell me what tonights mega millions numbers are likely to be and I'll judge it on that. The only system I will agree with to some extent is wheeling because it involves buying more tickets (Which lowers the odds) and

Mega Millions commission please be fair to the public.
You know, if you are that convinced it's crooked, why do you even care or play? The odds are what they are. That's why it's hard to hit. I've said it before, I'll say it again. They don't have to cheat. The lotteries make money because they take 50% of the money off the top and the odds are against you.

What Should Your State Do To Improve The Lottery?
I'm pretty happy with the way Texas does things. Real ball drawings. Good games, transparency. I do wish they would trash the Cash 5 game. It's a 5/37 game, odds are 435,897 to 1. It doesn't roll when it's not hit, and it will go as long as 10 or 12 draws before someone does win the jackpot. The payout is usually around $25,000, sometimes less, and it's parimutuel. Compared to other states pick 5 games, it plain sucks. I would like to see Texas bring in a P5 numbers game like PA's Quinto.

A question about lotto system odds
Only if you believe in an odds improvement ratio and aren't playing to hit solid. Every line played reduces the numbers of combinations covered by one combination and only one combination. In an endeavor (hitting a jackpot) with odds in the tens of millions and hundreds of millions to one, each combination covered isn't even a fraction of one grain of sand on a beach.

Poll: ILlinois: PB or Lotto
HUH? I feel like I just read a brain-teaser. PB with Powerplay sounds good but at 2 dollars a pop 5 lines will cost $10 versus 20 lines for that same $10 on Lotto with of course the not so good odds. For the sake of the question I would go with PB shooting for the 5 + 0 but only because of the better odds and only having to match 5 vs 6 balls. For the poll I chose other......I'll stick with Little Lotto : )

North Carolina: 1/1 - 1/31/2010
Assaults? Of course its NCEL stacking the odds... Odds in relationship to payout !!!....a lower payout means you'll eventually not have enough money in the end.. OK?

Powerball helps Florida Lottery cover losses
I don't want to beat a dead horse but I still can't help but wonder why the Lotteries never consider giving just a little better odds in their games to stimulate sales. The bad economy could even enhance sales if people felt the odds weren't so insurmountable as to preclude a chance of winning. I wish just one state would try it if only on a temporary basis. If they advertised it adequately and stressed the fact heavily that it was now easier to win their games I think sales would take off, i
