Need some advice
The odds sound good.
Maybe if you're not good at math. 1 in 15,000 is better than some lotteries, but the ticket costs 100 times as much as a typical lottery. That makes it comparable to odds of 1.5 million to 1 for a game with $1 tickets. The bigger issue is that the house is only worth about 20% of what they expect to collect, and it's presumably the only prize. Typical lotteries have multiple prizes, and pay about 50% of the money back to the players. When there are other choices, a game

That is unreal ...all odds for 150 midday draws!
I had not even noticed that.....thanks Nbey!
Some odds we haven't had for awhile are... 000 111 011 100...I wonder when we will see these again!
Good luck today!

but as a practical matter the probability is that the odds are against somebody from LP winning while they're an active member
By voting no they're saying it's impossible for any LP member to ever win a jackpot. It really doesn't matter what the odds are against any LP member winning a jackpot because as long at least one member continues to buy tickets, there is always a chance they can win.
However it is an opinion poll so we can't really debate why someone would believe it's impossibl

I don't see how anyone can honestly say yes. The question didn't ask if somebody might win, it asked if somebody will win. With a game of chance there can't be a definite answer. We can speculate without putting any real thought into it, or we can consider the probabilities and make a reasonable guess at how likely (or unlikely) it is.
Let's be generous and assume that there are currently 5000 active members averaging 2 tickets per drawing for whichever game is played in their state (or the c

Can it pass the "So what" test?
Hi,
Why beat a stst to death that doesn't yield what you want? For me, I'll take that stat in a different direction. For example, how often do 2O/3E repeat, how often does 30/2e follow a 2o/3E pick, ...etc.
What Odds/Evens are hot or cold?....Compare Odds/Evens to other filtering criteria.
Just a thought.

Ohio Classic Lotto STILL going up!
I usually play 10-20 lines when ever I play any lottery game. I've played the Ohio Classic Lotto game off and on and most times I don't even match three numbers for a $2 prize but about half the time I play MegaMillions I get a 0+1 or better for a $2 or$3 prize so I feel like I do better playing MM.
However when I checked my records for the year I had matched four 4 time playing Classic Lotto and had actually won back about the same percentage of my money playing either game so my feelings d

Do you believe the lottery is 100% honest in everything it does?
The lottery's main concern is where their next big promotional scratch off game is coming from, how they will advertise it and how much money will be generated for the state because of it.
They don't have to rig pick 3/4/5/6 drawings to make money these games odds make the games money because the people will play thousands of numbers that won't hit that day. This is what the bookies counted on still count on since lottery's started. You cant beat the odds of any game because it isn't str

This will make you NOT want to play the lottery
I stay away from jackpot games. Occasionally I'll do a quick pick on powerball and face the odds, but the odds for jackpot games are incredible plus the historical analysis is worthless since they change it so often. I have the same feeling towards jackpot games....it really is just dumb luck.
As for predicting exact numbers, playing them and doing it more than once....I've done that as have many, many others here. More than once. Now I'm trying to show consistency and see if I can stay posit

This will make you NOT want to play the lottery
That's a different way of thinking about such a long shot. I never looked at it that way. Living here in Florida, the odds of getting hit by lightning is about 3 to 7 million to one, depending where you're standing outside. That was enough for me to not to play.
I'll play a QP here and there, but won't be holding my breath..lol
I have enough trouble beating the P-3 straight with only a thousand to one odds. I think once I master that, then I can try to deal with 195 million to one.....lol

TV station investigates repeating Kentucky Lottery scratch winners
Is it luck or something else?
The Kentucky lottery sells hundreds of millions of dollars in scratch off lottery tickets each year. While it's difficult to hit the big one, people beat the odds time and time again.
WHAS11's investigative reporter Adam Walser traveled the state, trying to discover how some people repeatedly get so lucky.
For thousands of Kentucky residents, playing the lottery is favorite pastime.
Sometimes players win big, but usually, the outcome is not so lucky.
