As long as people don't think this type of scam will continue. If you want to win the Canadian lottery (like 6/49 or Super 7) then go to Canada and get tickets. Odds are the winner will be from Ontario or Quebec and not you but that's life. If you didn't get tickets you can't win. Even if you get tickets you can't win. I like the one in nj, you can win $500. When they say it gives out more prize money than before that is because they sold more tickets than before with the same return ratio. Having a number toward the end of the series does *not* decrease your odds. The $1M winner could be in the first few or the last few, the odds being the same (long shot) as anywhere else in the series. That's pretty grim. But yet another reason that I seldom buy a scratcher, and then only as a lark for a buck. Even the overall odds of winning a prize (as listed on the back of the tickets) are horrible for the amount you can get. And that doesn't consider the crap shoot of how many winning tickets may be in a roll of tickets. Other than taking a shot at it once in awhile, scratchers are a lousy way to go. Also, buying a 52 week subscription for Powerball does not allow for changes to the Powerball Matrix I have a question. Why would anyone in his/her right mind want the matrix to increase?
