Arlington Park Picks for 9/9
OK, only one more pick for today and it's another longshot... 9th................# 4 Real Easy (15/1) Best bet of the four races would probably be # 3 in the third. Fair odds 4/1, morning line odds 6/1.

A dollar and a dream true for PB and MM?
I guess I got you thinking. Keep on convincing yourself it is second grade math and I am wrong, it's healthy for the brain.I remember my second grade teacher, Sister Carmen, but what math lessons she taught exactly, is forgotten. On the other hand I remember her kindness, lovely smile, and dedication to us kids.I still am in touch with some of those 2nd. grade classmates. In college I remember the times of enlightment and learning but not all the faces of my classmates or profs., just a couple o

Saratoga (9/2) 10th Race
I'm visiting my sister and brother in the beautiful state of North Carolina this weekend. I don't have my odds line program with me so I can't look too closely for the value opportunities, but I like..... # 9 Passion (8/1) Rough guess at fair odds would be 5/1. Good luck!

A dollar and a dream true for PB and MM?
WOW, you beat me to the punch. I agree, I never understood that way of thinking. I've also read other posts about this subject and I can't see how that is possible. If the odds are 1 in 10 and I buy one ticket, I now have a 1 in 9 chance of winning. Does some strange phenomenon occur when the odds are increased to millions?...LOL No math genius here either, but I guess common sense might have exceptions in math...lol

Lucky couple wins second NY Lotto jackpot
Well at least they are telling the truth when they say We're playing with their money! $42 a week is a lot of money, but not if you've won millions. the odds of doing it two times are galactically astronomical, I like this expression. I always thought the odds of doing it once were out of this world, but they are proving me wrong. I just spoke on the phone to a nice lady who let me use her couch when I was too tired to drive home last month after visiting my Dad. Sh

I'd estimate the probability of two more MM rollovers as being...
I'd be happy with a single rollover. Odds of a single winner would be pretty low if there are two rollovers. Sales are a little lower this time though so the chance of a rollover is a little higher. I'd say sales for the current drawing will be around $95 million then around $165-175 for the next drawing. Just about even with it's odds. Maybe a little less. I have a feeling it gets hit on Tuesday though.

Powerball Advertising
Years ago a group talked Ohio into a similar idea which nearly ruined its lottery. Ohio is just now recovering from it after adding MegaMillions to its game. Years ago when Ohio had some of the biggest jackpots in the area $30M to $60M and people from outer state would travel to Ohio to play, they put a cap of $20M ($10M cash) that one ticket could win so there would be plenty left for the next winners and people stopped playing. Ohio advertised $60M jackpots but everyone knew that it was f

Systems say don't play like this....
For years I went around asking what I thought were very Intelligent people questions about ODDs and such as that. Never.... never ....did any of those so called intelligent people ever say .... OH I see ,,,you want to know about statistical probability not just ODDS. I will never understand that as long as I live.....why? They had to know what I meant. They did, I know that some certainly did. Maybe I just don't want to understand people are that way.
