Expensive Michigan Lottery tickets sell-out quickly
DOND really bugs me too. I think the main problem is people get greedy and turn down reasonable $$$ amounts because they'd rather have the million. Well, we'd all rather have the million, but ya gotta calculate the odds and play with your brain in gear.
Another problem is that after a contestant does take the deal, Howie makes them continue to open the suitcases and tells them what the offer would have been. I think future contestants watching that somehow think the contestant was dumb for

Lookit this (Wisconsin )
Of course the advocates for RNG would say this just proves randomness. But I'm thinking the odds of this combination being drawn must be about as high as the odds of winning the jackpot.
It's not just that they're all low. That I can live with...It''s that it was so close to being 1-2-3-4-5
I can't help but go Hmmmmmmm....

Schwarzenegger may try to privatize California Lottery
Another Arny sellout - He used to talk about changing the Calif lottery to were it produce more winners. His logic was more people would play if they had a real chance to win, therefore producing more revenue. He also suggested reducing the numbers, which in turn would reduce the odds, Of course jackpots would be lower, but there would be more winners and 2nd,3rd 4th level prizes could be higher. What happened Arny? Did the real players get to you???
On a personal note, i won't play Cal

incredible story
Nobody disputed the possibility that the same person turned in two winning tickets. What is far fetched is that the person bought one and found the other, and a story from lottery officials does nothing to prove the alleged scenario. If the lottery says that one of the tickets was a QP and it was printed after the first one, that would prove that the person didn't intentionally buy two tickets with the same numbers, but it still wouldn't prove that he found the second winning ticket.
Is it

incredible story
What are the odd's of this happening? Somebody played the same exact numbers that He did for the same draw date and then proceed's those lose His ticket and it get's found by this dude
The odds of somebody else playing the same numbers as him depends on how many people bought tickets and what the numbers were. If half of the combinations were sold, then there's a 50% chance that one of the other tickets sold had the same numbers. For some numbers there's a much higher chance that somebody e

Bingo anyone?
yeah i learned today before you posted this that it had like a zillion different ways a bingo cards possible....But that's not what i meant...What i mean is, If 20 people each bought 10 or 5 cartons/cards, someone or a couple of people will have to win soon or later....I think 552,446,474,061,128,648,601,600,000 if there was such an odd, would be to win it on the first 3 or 4 balls draw with 1 card/carton, even though i don't think it will be that much, it might be something like 200 Million...W

After months of pounding numbers calcu.....
Well I never used to win anything playing the lotto. I've read a few ebooks on lotto strategie and let me tell is you, most of it is total crap. However, I do believe since i've narrowed down the odds i have been almost winning my money back that i spent on the tickets. I've been hitting 3 of 6 numbers 4 draws in a row.
All i did balance my picks out between odds/even high/low hot/cold, and my own gut feeling. I've come incrediably close to the jackpot only 1 or 2 digits off on the 3 nu

Introduction
Thanks Badger for your advise and also thanks to Megatron and Kayee. I will try VersaBet again with a little more energy. I'm only looking for software that will help me study the numbers. I really liked the Degrees of Certainly discussion I read on this site. I don't expect to find software that will predict winning numbers. I just want to improve my odds. I have been buying 5 Florida Fantasy 5 QP #'s daily for about three months and a friend and I split the cost. We have won a little ov

While I can't suggest any particular system that will improve your odds of winning with a $5 ticket, I can suggest you read the posts of other LP members who are on a similar budget to see what they're doing successfully. Most players who play MegaMillions on a budget of $5 or less just want to be in the game and get lucky at best.
You might want to test/experiment with playing more less often, for example playing 20 lines every fourth drawing. Your first objective should be to beat the ove
