Ohio's New Year's Raffle
Well, last year a friend of mine and me went in together and spent $500 each, totaling $1000 and we got all of our numbers right in a row but won absolutely nothing. This year, we're doing it again but we're going to buy one ticket a day to spread them out. Hopefully, we'll win something this year! We decided if we don't win anything again this year then it's very doubtful we'll play it again because $500 each is a lot of money to spend. Will have to keep my fingers crossed for this year!

ILLotteryman, I decided it was time for a much needed break from playing..... But I did play 3 Cash Spectacular on Saturday 002 auto symbol for $10 winner. Ticket 001 auto symbol winner $10.00 and ticket 000 was a $15.00 winner and yesterday I played 2 Wheel Of Fortune lost on both.... Cooldude, I haven't seen you post in a while. Have you been playing? I haven't played scratchoffs in a week might try a few more IL Cash Spectacular's on Friday when I get paid. By the way, usually the IL Lottery starts advertising the Halloween million dollar raffle drawing by now but I have not heard anything have you? I wonder if they started selling the raffle tix yet?

We haven't seen this tickets yet way south of Chicago but from what the promo says I think these have any raffle beat. If I read it right it's 25 top prize winners- $1,000,000 each. That certainly beats a 500,000 ticket raffle that has four top prizes of one million anytime. At half the price no less.

This is probably the easiest way to run a raffle and every thing a player needs to know is specifically explained. I don't know why anybody would think it's an annuitized prize when the prize won't be known until after the last ticket is sold, but winner take all 50/50 raffle certainly explains it all. If 200,000 $10 tickets are sold, one player will win $1 million; simple as that.
