Canadian family charged with stealing $12.5M lottery jackpot
Feisty, you'll notice how long it took to bring this investigation to it's conclusion. I think perhaps people were starting to complain about retailers winning jackpots (as we should in America..) and suddenly lottery investigators cited this particular family's illegal actions, and subsequent arrests as an example of their efficiency. If there's one thing government is good at, it's hiding the horse from public view, as they close the barn door on another scam.

Lottery scams dupe thousands
I have a relative. He was scammed too, about $1000. It was a few years ago. At first, scammer only asked for $25. Gradually, the dollar amount escalated. One day he showed me a letter notifying him that he had won a sweeptake. The odd thing was that he had never filled out a sweeptake form before; then, how could he possbily had won it if he had not enter it in the first place. They asked him to mail out over $500. I told him it was a scam and provided him with many stories, but he insisted. I t

hearsetrax, LOL! My favorites are the Nigerian Diplomats who possess the proceeds from a Royal Estate, and will share it with you for $20,000.00 Earnest money. Some guy sends THEM scam emails, which convinces the Nigerians to jump-off two-story buildings as an 'audition' for an action movie part. They actually do it!

How would you get to the Lotto office?
Colt45ML, though that sounds like a prudent method to redeem a big jackpot, it is probable that they (Lottery Officials) will also obligate the winner to make a public statement about their windfall. BIG MISTAKE!! Any big jackpot winner will tell you it's advisable to keep a lid on your enthusiasm, and not appear on television. Of course they'll want potential lottery patrons to see your smiling face as you collect on your good fortune, but that indiscretion will invite every scam artist and lit

Whenever these scammers say we just need a small fee to cover the taxes, paperwork, etc. you should know it's a scam. I would just say to the scammers instead of me sending you money, just just subtract the fees, taxes, etc. from my prize, then send me a check. Then, I would expect them to hang up, quickly.

N.Y. man pleads guilty to stealing to feed his lottery habit
ridge runner, the whole mess has become a bait and switch scam. Our schools were supposed to receive substantial proceeds from lottery sales, and they're still worse than broke. The odds are so staggering against winning even modest amounts from Lotto and Mega Millions games, you might as well write a letter to Santa Claus, asking him to hand you your winnings. Wherever these funds migrate to, they certainly aren't going to benefit the organizations we were originally told they would.

Conspiracy Theories, the Lottery Edition
Another way to fund the NWO with global taxation on banks. But the federal Reserve is the biggest scam of all time in my opinion.

retailers not validating sratch offs
i was wondering are retailers suppost to validate lottery scratch offs before you buy them?? i buy sratch offs from a guy who doesn't validate them before you buy them so you HAVE to go back to his store to get your money. and sometimes when you take them back he doesn't even scan them, he just asks you how much you won and gives you the money. i think the guy might be running a scam.
