Odds Don't Change When Jackpot Goes UP
It might help to keep in mind we are not physically dividing the game's combinations into two independent stacks for this odds splitting trick. It's like shooting fish in a tank, they keep moving back and forth no matter how many guns we add to cut the odds. I think you're just yanking our chain, so I'll leave the last laugh to you. BobP

Florida lottery raffle tickets being illegally re-sold
Besides being illegal....it is brilliant....I wish I would have thought of it....haha. I would definetly not pay for Florida's though since the odds are so high. Maybe in MI, PA, or some other state that has better odds. B-rad

Odds Don't Change When Jackpot Goes UP
Winning the raffle has everything to do with the number of combinations. The game's odds always depend on the number of possible combinations, regardless of whether or not the game has been designed to guarantee a winner(s). The only difference between a typical raffle and a lottery is that with a raffle the possible combinations are limited to the ones that are played and each combination can only be played once. In the case of the Florida raffle the odds of winning with one ticket ar

Odds Don't Change When Jackpot Goes UP
1 ticket = 1in14mil 2 tickets = 1in7mil I agree with Coin Toss, but I think the confusion might be that the lottery isn't the same as a raffle. Recently there have been some state raffles with limited tickets printed. So when then FL lottery sold 1,250,000 tickets and announced that 10 people would win $1 million, the odds became 1 in 125,000. (odds stated on the FL web site) So winning a raffle with a set amount of tickets that will be selected has nothing to do with the amount of c

how have you done with lottery in 2006?
What is doing fair, average, and good? Does fair mean you lost a little or average mean you broke even or good mean you won a little? I pick a winning combination in real life about as often as I pick one on the prediction board which is about 10% of the time but I'm still coming up short because those winners are at the bottom prize tiers. I play pick5 and jackpot games which have odds of 2% - 10% of winning something and I beat those odds most of the time. I've concluded that unless a regu

Doubles & Triples
No and yes!! No, you don't have to bail on the group once a hit falls, because some states have shown 2 hits come out before the 4 days are even over. Yes, I meant to put an even number before the double, because it's likely that if you have odds you should run the double odd with an even number and vice versa. Unless you show your state or the state you're playing really needs an all odd or all even, the odds are in your favor to go with the opposite.

Lottery Study
If you want to find some of the basics here at lottery post the first place I would look is in lottery systems. To learn the pick 3 or 4 game is to know the different breakdowns of the numbers themselves. Each breakdown by category will have their own set of odds of probability. To know how your game is running with the odds of probability use the deflate and inspector 3 and 4 for past results history.

Maryland Lottery to offer limited-run raffle-style game
You might want to try the Delaware Raffle. The Grand Prize is $250,000 but it offers the best odds of any raffle in the North East and the price is only $10 not $20. 1 in 100,000 for the grand prize and 1 in 390 for a prize of at least $500. Only 100,000 tickets available and over 30% are already sold. A million is nice, but $250,000 with those odds is a better bet. And in Delaware you can remain anonymous as a winner and there are no state taxes on gambling winnings. Think about it.

New Florida Lottery raffle will make 10 millionaires
Interesting - coincidentally I was going to ask you how to post this article! Members - please comment on the odds here. I have a 7:30am meeting Monday and was going to buy a ticket after the meeting. I have a feeling they'll be sold within the first few days, unless the holiday has an effect on ticket sales. $20 is an awful lot of money to me for a ticket, but for many people it's that proverbial drop in the bucket. I'd be thrilled winning $10,000 right now. (I believe there
