Could Criss Angel win Powerball??
I think Criss Angel already shattered the odds, because some of the things he does surpasses Powerball in odds...Example, if i could walk on water the way he does, i bet i can talk up a rich person into giving me all of her/his fortune if i can walk on water and they would make the bet...For example, i always thought that to see someone walk up the wall of a building upright would require 1 million dollars before you can see it (one of those things that only money could buy)...But thanks to Cris

$32 million in cash for a 6/49 game
Amazingly the 6/49 game rolled. I can't believe it considering the sales and low odds. I don't know what the odds of a rollover were but they couldn't have been good. (Sales posted at www.lotterycanada.com )
For a 6/49 game that's a terrific prize. Looks like it's 28.3 million US in cash. Although if you wait the Canadian dollar might get stronger. I'll be getting my tickets.

I love big jack-pots
Believe it or not, some LP members have posted they never play the jackpot games, they prefer playing to win $50 with odds of 1:220 in a pick3 game
Sorry RJOH, I kinda looked at the whole picture, instead of just your last pargraph. I assumed you were making a comparison with the jackpot games and the p-3, as I quoted above, as a primer to your overall belief, and wasn't paying attention to detail.
I weaved the qoute above with the odds thingy, and was thinking too much. Yes, there is a t

I love big jack-pots
Hey RJOH,
So are you saying the odds in winning 50 bucks in a jackpot game is less than 220 to 1, like the p-3?
Thanx in advance.
P.S. The reason I ask is, if it does indeed have less odds than 120, then I'm playing the wrong game.....LOL

Pondering Question...
Lets hope I'm following your question correctly.
Firstly, the odds are what they are, its a matter of what system you may use to get the best results for the game.
I personally consider my odds 50/50. I either win or I don't. The jackpot prize and pay out amounts are my determining factors in whether its worth playing.
Good luck to you in any game you choose to play!

Pondering Question...
I've been pondering a question for a long time...When you look to see how a hard a lottery is, do you go by its range, or do you go by how many balls are drawn?
Example, if they were two kinds of lotteries, one was a pick5 from 1-30, and the other was a pick5 + pick1 from 1-20 plus bonus ball 1-15, Which one will you say is harder, the pick5 or pick6?I would think that the pick5 + pick1 will be a lot easier because the range 1-20 is so small, compared to the pick5 range 1-30...In a way you ca

Do you really think you have better odds?
Since we don't have time to discuss everything about what numbers are bad, perhaps you could explain why 1-7-21-29-46 are all the longest shots available for 7/29 and how much longer a shot they are.
As far as the odds of 5-10-17-24-43 repeating, I'd figure it's exactly the same as the odds that they would have been drawn the first time around, assuming the same set of balls is put into the same machine. With a different set of balls in a different machine I'd expect that the probabili

Arrest Made in Crackdown on Internet Betting
Just6ntlc:
You are a strange breed of cat. Don't you know that regular state games give terrible odds and are designed to steal your money faster than any offshore casino ever dreamed of? Why throw rocks at something that gives the average player better odds? Let's tax the darned thing, give the gangsters in Congress their cut and leave the average American at least one scrap of freedom. We spend too much time protecting the idiots from themselves.

Expert Lotto
I agree with PadawanLotto that Expert Lotto is no more than a tool and winning a 6/49 game is harder. The flaw in proving how well a pick6 system works using the prediction board is that all pick6 games are treated the same with same payouts thus a match3 pays $5, a match4 pays $100 and a match5 pays $1500 which is about normal for a 6/49 game.
West Virgina pays $1 for match3, $10 for a match4 and $250 for a match5 because the odds of winning the jackpot of its 6/25 game are 1:177,100 rather
