Why not a lottery that goes "wide"?
That's because there isn't that much interest. People playing jackpot games want a large jackpot for themselves. Most don't want a socialist ideal of no one being rich. I also play for smaller jackpots. In WA state the pick 5 here is Quinto and when it breaks 2 million or so I start buying tickets. I am also playing for a jackpot but a smaller jackpot with better odds. If people want to play for smaller pots state games offer that but with much better odds than the multi-state games.

choosing one game that you love most
I think keno is a fun game if you have money to throw away. I have never seen anyone win consistently I've seen people play the game for hours on end and win nothing and a few times I've seen people win most of their money back after a few hours of losing. Keno is a take in game meaning they pay out a percentage of the take. Mostly they rob people of their hard earned money. Occasionally some sap wins a big chunk. Many people I've seen play keno are also hooked on coin slot machines and will spe

Powerball Normal Distrubution 55-5
If you cut a pizza into 8 slices, 7 of them have 'shrooms and 1 has pepperoni, you would have a distribution where the odds of getting stuck with 'shrooms is .875 but yet the chance of picking any given slice at random is .125 The odds of choosing any set of Powerball numbers on the lower 5 is the SAME no matter what they add up to. There are vastly more COMBINATIONS that add up to your medium than there are odd sets with very low or high add-ups. So yes the actual numbers are that much

Does Lose for Life Employ a Statistician?
Is my math wrong??? The back of a Lose for Life play slip states the odds of losing the big prize are 1 in 5,245,788. I calculate the odds are 1 in 5,245,786. Yeah, not a real big difference, I know. You'd think they would be concerned with accuracy at the lottery!?!

How to win more lotto for less money.
I don't play the 6/53 game because of the high odds. I'll play a quick pick here and there, but that's about it. I play the Fantasy five game, but most I hit was for 4 out of five. The high odds of Lotto are almost 23 million to one. It's like taking 26 quarters and throwing them up in the air and all of them landing on heads. Try that with only 5 quarters and you'll be tossing for almost a day before they all land on one side. I really haven't sat down and implemented all the rules above

Petition for Pick5 game from betslips
Anyone else want betslips to offer a Pick5 game? I know I do. My vote goes for the Virginia Cash5 game. It's a 5/34 game with a top prize of 100K for 5/5. Odds are 1 in 278,256. That there is nice odds. And you can play up to 12 times a week. Anyway, put your name down and let them know you want them to offer a Pick5 game.

Florida Fantasy 5's New EZMATCH
Although the information on this game says the ez-match numbers are selected by the terminal this does not mean they are random numbers and prize amounts. If it was, then each prize amount would have the same odds of ocurring. If it was completely a random event then each prize amount should have an equal chance of coming up. I am thinking this is less about actual random numbers matching and more about having a set algorothm where in a prize pool of 210,000 tickets, one ticket will be select
