Even if they lowered the odds, they would still be astronomical and not many people would win.
There's no way to know how many multiple winners there would be. Look at the lower odds games most states offer and you'll see that there are only one or two winners when those games are won. I don't remember seeing any N.Y.S. Lotto game with anywhere near 10 winners.

If the odds are they same they dont update it. Look at NYS Set For Life. Same odds two different game numbers lumped together. Then look at a game like 7 11 21. Different odds and payouts so they separate them.
So while the overall odds might be the same a buyers have know way of knowing which game number has the most jackpots left.
