My Lastest reply from the Hoosier lottery
Subj: Re: Prize PayoutsDate: 3/21/05 4:53:56 PM Central Standard TimeFrom: PlayerSupport@HoosierLottery.com I am in receipt of your recent e-mail to the Hoosier Lottery. The Lottery made the important decision to use computerized draws forseveral reasons. As you know, the odds of 4 distinct numbers beingdrawn in any order are approximately 1:416.67. Depending on the year(leap year, etc.), there are approximately 679 drawings for Daily 4throughout the year. Therefore, one could argue that the

Streak of jackpot winners is bad luck for Powerball lottery sales

Todd, I am assuming you are talkikng about the lottery. I actually do not play anymore. The odds are horrible now on Canada's Revised 6/49. Sure the prizes are bigger, but it costs TWICE as much now for a ticket! So unless the jackpots get really big, then the odds are even worse than when tickets used to be one dollar. The Pick-3 interests me. It might be possible to use a neural network, or data mining to gain an edge if you fed it enough information and the drawing was unbiased. I saw

Texas Lottery Considering Computerized Drawings
If one is picking less numbers then what is in the drawing then you would have btter odds of winning right?Lets say that several numbers do not come up for a longtime. There are 54 balls and say 10 numbers are dead right now. Well, you would only be choosing out of 44 balls if you are tracking the numbers like so many of us do here. Picking 5 balls (not counting the Bonus ball for games that use it) out of 44 is a lot easier than picking 5 balls out of 54 balls right? Therefore BETTER od

West virginia cash 25 payouts
I like the Cash 25 game and have mentioned it to the Delaware Lottery people almost every time I visited the drawings when they were complaining about losing money with the 6/38 game that they just retired. I go through West VA once a year on my way to visit my mother in ILL and I play the Cash 25 game. I have won money 4 out of the last 6 times I played.......a few 4s and several 3s without having anything to go on but the last 4 or 5 drawings for the most part. I would like to be able to play

Guru, yes or no ?
First of all you should give some serious thought whether you want to lure potential customers into buying version 1.7 if they will be much happier with 1.8 down the road. People don't just buy the software and stare longingly at it, they put down real money on its picks.Considering a broken clock is correct twice a day. Here are the odds of having winning numbers in a 6/49 game when picking 6 and 10 numbers.6 of 6 - 1 in 13,983,816.00 and 1 in 66,589.605 of 6 - 1 in 54,200.84 and 1 in 1,422.8
