Can any system beat the lottery ?
Back in the late 80's or early 90's there was a European group featured on the TV show 'How they do that' that beated the Virgina lottery by buying over 80% of the possible combinations. They were going for 100% but ran out of time. They got lucky and had the winning combinations. According to the spokeman for the group, they looked for lotteries with cash values higher than the their odds of winning and played them, now days a lottery's cash value seldom exceeds its odds of winning and no o

How many numbers should you wheel?
Quote: Originally posted by midwstrngirl on June 13, 2003 secret4777sorry i didn't answer your question in my last post.i actually prefer the florida lotto to mm or pb, because the odds are lower on 6/53 and the lower tier prizes are good. 3 numbers will get you around $15-20 (the low prizes are pari mutual)the rewards of MM are obviously the higher payout for 2nd prize. $175,000, the first prize ain't too shabby either if you can get it...but the difference in odds between the two games is hu

Ohio649P picking my numbers
In the past I have picked numbers within the parameter of previous hits (sums, range, gaps and etc.). When I compared my Buckeye5 (a 5/37 lottery = 435,897 possible combinations) file or 2251 records which expands almost 10 yrs., 5 combinations of 5's had hitted twice and many combinations of 4's had repeated my times. With 2251 drawings, only 5% of the possible combintions had a chance to be drawn and 5 combinations has appeared twice. I concluded that these combinations had a combinatio

Challenge to Fellow LotteryPost Friends!!
Sorry to read you have retracted your challenge. As you pointed out, using different systems and wagering amounts would be like comparing apples and oranges, but camparing a winning system with the other systems would be like comparing a diamond with apples and oranges. If you do what others are doing and win, you just got lucky and your odds of losing is the same.Years ago when lotteries jackpots were larger than the odds of winning them, there was an investment company from Europe that invest

Is Zero High or Low??
Sure ...the name of the game is consistantcy. A Rose is a Rose. But when you are alluding to...or alerting on... a certain group of digits... its polite to make sure everyone is on the same page .We should make sure we're on the same illusion ....anyway.LOL But in this illusion... we call 0 high . Guess what? In our illusion we track 5 high and 5 low digits. We also do another thing .....we track 5 even numbers and 5 odd numbers. In our illusion the 13579 are odd ...and the 24680 are even

Pick-3 Golden List
Hello, Sedertree.. Please excuse our assumption based on your post, but you might be just the fella that could answer a question about some unusual patterns on the Ga. midday. Prior to today, we had 8 even-number doubles. We have never seen a mathematical knot that large before. Our question is, how really big was it? We know about 50/50 odds concerning even and odd chances, but the probability of 9 even-number doubles had to be over 90%. Anyway,we went ahead today assuming an odd double w
