Quick Picks versus Own Numbers
What? Quick picks are random numbers produced by a random number generator. There is just as much chance winning with quick picks as there is picking your own. Of the first 59 winners of the powerball, 41 were quick picks. That's just because a higher percentage of people use quick picks. Think that if you use the same numbers for each draw they will dventually come up? Yes, they will, but at 104 draws a year, it would take 1,150,000 years for all the combos to come up. There is nothing you can

GA. MID.11/21
HI JOHN , IT'S JUST THE UNKNOWN THIRD NO# THAT COMES WITH THOSE 55 PAIRS THAT YOU AND I TRACK. FOR EX. THE 99 DOUBLE PAIR ON GEORGIA MIDDAY ...... WELL , MOST OF THE TIME ,WHEN YOU GUESS IT'S ABOUT TO HIT, YOU CAN'T BE SURE OF THE THIRD NO# BUT YOU KNOW THAT THE LAST SEVEN TIMES IT DID COME IN, IT CAME WITH A ...... 7,9,0,0,8,6,9 . WHO KNOWS WHAT THE REAL SWING NO# IS GOING TO BE? NOT ME!...BUT THE ODDS ARE VERY VERY GOOD THAT IT WILL BE A LOW NO# . YOU ALREADY KNOW THIS , BUT C

amazing patterns Ga. Midday
HELLO BIRD, NO BIG DEAL AT ALL, REALLY. EVERYONE HAS THEIR WAY OF PICKING A NUMBER. IF THEY GUESS THE RIGHT NUMBER THAT DAY ,THEY USUALLY DONT GET THE ORDER RIGHT. ABOUT 83% OF THE TIME THEY DO WIN, THEY WIN THE BOX AMOUNT, INSTEAD OF THE STRAIGHT-BOX. THIS IS JUST A LITTLE THING THAT HELPS CUT THE ODDS DOWN . IF, FOR EX. --- YOU THOUGHT THE NUMBER TODAY WAS GOING TO BE A DOUBLE: 221 . IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA ,OR HIGH PROBABILITY TO SPLIT IT , AND MAKE IT 212 TODAY . ANYTIME YOU SEE

Pick 5 or 5 ball lottery
To Retxx and Teufellj,I wrote a GW-Basic program which changed the numbers in the file the way Retxx suggested. It added +1 to the first, third and fifth numbers and -1 to the second and fourth numbers. If the change would cause a duplicate, the next number was not changed. For example, if the combination had adjacent numbers 1-2-and etc., the 1 becamed 2 and the 2 becamed 1, but if the combination had adjacent number 1-3 and etc., the 1 becamed 2 and instead of the 3 becoming 2, it remaine

Buckeye5 10/15/02
This is a list of 28 combinations that have never hit more than three during the entire history of the Buckeye5 drawings (2,109 draws). Playing them tonight and not doing any better would be similar to playing them 2110 times or playing over 59,000 combinations and not matching four or better. So far they would have matched two 6700 times and three 712 times for a payback of $13,820 or a loss of $45,232 had they been played. Can any group of numbers be that bad? In the past I've sometimes pl

Somthing to think about
This is a summation of a news article that I read at Biggamelottery.com today.Massachusetts Auditor Joe DeNucci said the state's lottery continues to be troubled with multiple ticket cashers. DeNucci is a political foe of Shannon O'Brien's the state Treasurer who office runs the lottery and is the Democratic front-runner for the governor's office.DeNucci said one lottery winner under the state treasurer's watch claimed 679 prizes worth about $1.2 million, but only paid $9,700, or 0.83 percent,

odds are odds....regardless of coincidences
Hi Todd, Will and everyone ,.....glad to meet you all !!!!All I know is that when I make more bets.........I win more. You can call it what you want....Increasing my chances orlowering the odds.....But it's true and it works. We all know that.I know that it's all random drawings and any number can come up ,but there are other factors involved that, not me or anyone can figure out and they are:Why is it that some people are lucky more than others?(We all know someone that's allways winning somethin

odds are odds....regardless of coincidences
Just to set the record straight on a few points mentioned in this thread:1. Buying the 2nd ticket DOES increase your odds to 2 in 1,000,000. The difference is miniscule, but mathematically, those are the odds.2. For all intents and purposes, the lottery drawings are random . However, the scientific fact is that the lottery machines are just that: machines. Mankind has NEVER produced any machine that is 100% random. To say that lottery balls have no memory is not the issue. Perhaps there is one

Usually wheels can be of several types:1. Balanced (the most effective, you only use certain combinations that have the highest probabilities of winning)2. Extended wheels (these are the wheels with all the possible combinations, regardless of balances, i.e. number of high vs. low numbers, odd vs. even, etc...)The numbers use for the wheels must be adjusted for the most recent lottery draws. If you use a wheel based on current numbers that is an active wheel, if you use just the numbers accord
