Poll for people who have played a long time
There are a lot of people on here who are playing the Multi States hoping to just hit the Second prize for a million or so.
Many of them are over fifty or have been playing for more than 25 years.
So, I thought of a game with better odds that is just a different version of pick 4 for longtime/older players.
If would be 4-Forty.
Instead of 0-9 for each digit it would be 1-40
The odds of a straight hit would be five times better than a second prize hit on the Multi St

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?

No i don't know why the odds are what they say they are but if you want to explain sure then
humans have done some remarkable things over the centuries and illogical to making that logical and at most times by pure accident
most inventions and breakthroughs over the centuries were by accident excluding the purposed breakthroughs

British pro gambler took aim at $25.8M CT Lotto jackpot, buying hundreds of thousands of tickets
The dumb lottery officials were scratching their heads or laughing hysterically as to this smart guy's basic math lacking skills.
They might be laughing at the idiots who create wheels and then spend $5, $10, or $20 dollars drawing after drawing, because they know that those people aren't betting based on aa sensible analysis of the risk and the potential reward. They knew that this guy's strategy wasn't based on imaginary math, and actually made sense. In both cases they're happy to see pe

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
From tonight's Cash 5 draw here tonight.
On these, where I cut out what doesn't work, for the 3rd and 4th numbers, there are less options. These ARE right off my workout for tonight.
There are headers that go over each section that I did cut off for here. You can see where the winning numbers are compared to my pics, but these where my narrowed down options per.
These don't start off looking like this. There are so far, on average about 20 options per pick. That's just from putting the

Book "Beat The Odds In The Lottery"
The Law of Large Numbers (a.k.a. the Central Limit Theorem ) says that as the number of independent trials goes up, the variance goes down and the mean (average) of the trials will approach the expected value. It has absolutely nothing to do with with predicting the next drawing... something that simply cannot be done (other than cheating).
Don't waste your money on a book; you'll get zero return. Spend the same amount of money on lottery tickets, and you'll have a chance to win that money ba

Washington Lotto ticket generated with two identical quick picks
Mitch Tracy beat the odds with a recent lottery ticket, but it didn't turn him into a millionaire.
Tracy purchased the $1 ticket at a lottery machine in Spokane, Wash., and opted to let the Quick Pick feature choose his numbers.
As he was walking away, he realized he'd been given the same numbers twice.
You're supposed to get two lines for a buck, and both lines were the same numbers, Tracy said.
Officials say the odds of that happening are about one in 14 million, which is double t

Where's the mathematics?
I'm not a mathematician but I believe the chaos in the drawing machine distorts the game's design statistics to the degree that knowing probabilities is worthless information.
The odds don't change, but how can anyone know in advance what the probabilities are at any point in time?
I wonder what we would see if we compared the last 50 draws with the game's 'in the box' stats for the same number of draws.
It would be like day and night, in my opinion.
It seems to me that basing my pla

Powerball joins lottery frenzy with $620 million jackpot
Yes, it is fascinating, and I don't really care if The Meatman did the math correctly or not......
Just gimme the cashola and I'd be happy.
As for me I never pay a ounce of attention to the advertised MM/PB jackpot amounts. That's because of the following;
1. Maybe nobody will win the JP,
2. Maybe multiple people will win the JP,
3. The IRS is going to get their cut (you aint gettin' anywhere close to the advertised JP amount)
4. It's the annuity amount.... Forget the annuity.

Take5 NY
Hope you mixed in #39 last nite Casper... It repeated...
Number 9 is your hot Take5 number for October... it's already hit 7 times this month. Could be a 10 hit month for #9. We haven't seen a number hit at least 10 times in one calendar month since November of last year when #35 hit a whopping eleven times.
I won 4 bucks in last nite's billion dollar MM drawing. I only had the Megaball but because I bought the Megaplier (which was 2) it doubled my prize from 2 bucks to 4.
Going to pla

Answer: 90 double hits on average a year
How many times a year on average do we get More than 2 doubles in a row?

GA Evening just had 3 doubles in a row as of last night.

Actually, we really should never play doubles after bac
