interesting technique
Hey hey,
Stumbled across this interesting website about lottery strategy. Looks like there is a lot of info in it, but I haven't gone through it all.
http://www.saliu.com/LottoWin.htm
He talks about selecting numbers using the last 12 draws (for cash 40/lotto) and last 3 draws (for pick 3/4). Statistically, this happens quite frequently and increases your odds of hitting. I tries it last night with a $3 bet for NY take 5 and won $23 (3/5 numbers). woohoo. (man, I was on a serious loooo

would you still play?
If they increase the cost to play or they incresead the amount of balls.....I would not play anymore. These people are making money no matter what....and it seems like true capitalist greed for them to think of increasing it just because more people have been hitting it lately.
Actually what has happened is that MM has gotten wind of the fact that more people are unto their scam of selecting the set of numbers that pay out the least. so every once in a while they throw us a bone by allowing

Type of Numbers

I`ve scanned the forum but haven`t seen any comments on using the 'type' of number system to select number combinations. Is there a software program that uses the 'type' system available? Lottery America is one but I`m looking for a freebie here!
Please explain, what do you mean by type of number system? Th

NY Pick10...
pumpi76
The NY Pick 10 looks like it's based on the casino game of Keno, out of a field of 80, 20 are selected. You might find it interesting to Goggle Keno odds .
Maybe I missed it on the NY State lottery site but I didn't see odds posted anywhere.
I'm not sure you calculated the odds right but I know they are astronomical.
We've had discussions here on the board about how big would a matrix have to get before anyone stopped playing - I think the lottery commissions look at that

Powerball.How to profit:speculation
This is just a wild talk/speculation, i may be wrong. Looking at lotterywheels.com, i noticed they got a wheel named: Y6-5T620. is a size 20 wheel that guarantees 2, 5of6 if 6 in 20 and requires 2040 sets. What you need is a size 30 wheel (is a good size of the game). that guarantees 2 tickets having 5of6. If you are confident enough that you can select 30 numbers consistently, that will have the 6 winning numbers, then is possible you could make a huge profit. If you get it right the first or s

the right wheel?
When a game draws an additional number(s) they either draw it from an independent hopper like Mega Ball or Power Ball which means the same number can be drawn twice, it increases the odds against winning and you must have it correct to win the jackpot.
Mega Money is Pick-4 plus a Pick-1 Mega Ball, Power Ball is Pick-5 plus a Pick-1 Power Ball.
This is the opposite of a game drawing a bonus number which is a additional number from the same hopper and substitutes for a number you didn't hav

Possible number combinations...
It may be called a hexidecimal in mathematics but it doesnt exist in lottery pick 3's.
The state lottery pick 3 is nothing but an exact copy of an old ghetto game called policy . Policy was a 5 cents bet at first (and millions were made a bucket of nickels at a time, so much so that The Outfit - ahem! - took it over).
After The Outfit took over it bacame a $1 bet to win $500 ( $450 if the middle digit was 1 - who's going to question Guido and who is going to go to the cops complain

why play the pick 4?
Quote: Originally posted by LOTTOMIKE on March 17, 2006 Quote: Originally posted by sirbrad on March 17, 2006 I actually agree with the author. I used to play pick 4 a lot, and even pick 3, and have won enough. But I still seem to win more playing the jackpot games then I did with the smaller games.
I also play lottery games that provide a chance at a total life transformation (jackpots) and very rarely play the pick 3 and 4's anymore. For awhile I was getting absolutely no return on them, a

Texas Lottery eliminates Lotto bonus ball
Dear bobby623:
I have attended MANY meetings in Texas and while they are certainly not without faults/flaws they are one of the best teams (the staff) and one of the most successful in terms of sales and dollars contributed per capita to the state, in the entire U.S. Conversely, I was also present at a retailer forum where Ms. Nettles asked me why, if the odds on Pick 3 (Straight/Exact Order) are 1:1000 (with a suitable smug smirk like I gotcha ), why the lottery doesn't pay $1,000 whe

If you are going to buy 46+ tickets.....
From what I figure out, here is what is meant by $46($42) strategy: numbers in the parentheses ( ) represents the case of Powerball.
1. ONCE one decides to spend $46($42) on buying MM(PB) tickets for whatever reason and if/when he covers all 46(42) Mega Balls(red Powerballs), he or she does not lose more than $44($39) out of the whole $46($42) spent on buying the MM(PB) tickets. Put it differently in percentage term, given such constraints, one can win at least 4.3%(7.1%) of every $46($42) sp
