2500.00 on cash pop is based on a 10.00 ticket. The odds are 1 in 15,000 will produce a 2500.00. I play CP daily and have never gotten a 2500.00. I seem to get higher dollar amounts on a 5.00 ticket then the 10.00 ones. Someone posted a 2500.00 in the scratch off forum.

You can't use these wins as a barometer for the lottery as many of these wins were less than a $100M. Many changes have happened since then as well. The odds have increased significantly and don't forget California came much later but they are quickly passing the other states. In 10 years California will have the most wins by a significant margin.

I will explain more clearly for you to understand. In a group of 30 numbers, if there are 6 winning numbers, the odds are as you said. Because I play keno and in my group of 30 numbers there are always 9 winning numbers. I choose 6 keno with 3/4 wheel if 6 and 6/6 wheel if 9 means I still have 3 winning numbers left.

many have claimed their jackpot winnings as an LLC or Trust and after 90 days the site did not update that information. So anybody who wants to know the name etc. of the actual winner would have to go digging. Also, I noticed most winners? won by using quick-pick. I read between 70% and 80% of Power Ball and Mega Million winners won by quick pick. Both games have extremely high odds, luck plays a huge part.
