Has anyone ever got one of these??
Same old scam, only the name of the lottery changes. If you didn't pay to play in a legitimate lottery, you can't win. These things are all an attempt to drain your bank account. Some will even send you a check to deposit if you will pay the taxes out of it, then the check turns out to be bad even though the bank thought it was good at first. I've already won hundreds of times according to these scammers. BobP

Granny's dream advice helps man win lottery
It's sad but lots of lottery winnings have to go unclaimed. If lotteries gave unclaimed winnings to anyone claiming to have lost their ticket, they would have lots more people showing up to make a claim for the same winnings, similar scam stories have been in the news many times. It would probably also encourage people with insider knowledge of the unclaimed winnings to start making claims too.

cheat at lottery
It's the same old scam, don't get suckered in. Don't spend the $30 or whatever it is thinking, what's the risk for only $30? You're just feeding the scammer by doing that, and you'd be FAR better off spending the $30 on some quick picks at your local store.

Lawsuit over $315 million lottery jackpot goes to trial
You can bet Jonathan De La Cruz won't forget or any of the others who are suing. Mr. Cruz probably was hoping the seven would settle with him for a few million dollars rather than have a long trial, but with some of his other co-workers trying to run the same scam there's no chance of that happing now.

Lottery scammer arrested in Ohio
While this guy was wrong, I'm sorry people need to stop being so gullable. I've received plenty of letters and emails about claim your winnings. I know it's a big hoax and throw it away. I even got an email once where the title subject said we have not heard from you. I simply hit the delete button and laughed. Thing is there are people so desperate for a good thing, it's really easy to scam people out of their money, which is a shame.

Man reports $7,000 scam by 'lottery winner'
I could never figure why some people think giving money to a stranger with a sad story make them a nice person and not a fool. It may sound heartless, but any time a stranger tell a sad story and ask for money I smell a scam. Hard luck stories should be shared with friends and family and if you don't have any its too late to start making some when hard times come along.
