I prefer parimutuel odds here in CA. Alot of times it's below the fixed amount of other states and other times it's way above the fixed amount of other states.

It all depends on what you compare it to and what games are available. The second prize of $500,000 has about 12 million to one odds. Here in Michigan the Club Keno 10 spot extra has a $500,000 top prize payout but those odds are 15 million to one and there is no $10 million dollar prize on the CK unless you try a $40 ticket! It all depends on how it compares to what ever is available in the jurisdictions you can play in. It is sad that people in other countries can play

I'm sure this will go unheard by the majority, and that's cool, but there are some out there that can and will use it. This again, can be used by keeping the memory of, as it was exactly to get another step into winning. That is not a concept unique to Pick 3. In fact, it is the very definition of a lottery game. Can you name a single lottery game anywhere in the world that pays out even odds or better?

The Mass Numbers Game payoffs are pari-mutuel. And it looks like this system is based on getting the higher payoffs. For instance, The evening drawing paid $353 for matching the front 3 with odds of 1 in 166.7 as opposed to getting $80. There are only 120 combinations with no duplicate digits and a profit could be made by betting them all.

If one of the prize tiers is a rolling jackpot that could potentially be split among several people, you could take the average of past payouts. Some people omit jackpots from these kinds of calculations as the odds are too astronomical to ever be realized. It's your money, only you can decide the best way to gamble it. Best of luck to you.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw odds of 376,992 to 1. Take5's odds to win a jackpot are 575,757 to 1. And... After the price of tickets rose to $2 around eleven years ago and the odds were even more difficult, I actually went through years without playing Powerball and Mega Millions. I now only play once in a while but I buy large number of tickets a few times a year. I would no longer play Mega Millions if they charge $5 a ticket.

I will play my state lotto if mega and power raise prices again and only play when it is near a billion for the minimum amount to get the ticket. I like to play mega and power and oregon megabucks year round but if the odds go any higher or cost goes up they can count me out and just stick to my state lotto.-weshar75
