Lottery winner surprised ticket worth $250,000
Congratulations to them! I like stories like that. The clerk was honest. The people were seniors and living off of social security. No fights or lawsuits. They didn't spend a lot of money on the lottery and they won a cushion.

Is it true that you can claim your loosing lottrey tickets on your tax
Social security / self employment taxes only apply to earned income. Gambling winnings, interest and dividends, or income from a rental property are generally not earned income. For a professional gambler, winnings are earned income. Some rental income may be considered earned income if renting property amounts to a business, or the owner performs services that would reasonably increase the rental income or reduce expenses.

Contractors steal $70,000 in lottery prize money
did it say they were printing winning tickets or just tickets for the games?
There's definitely something going on besides what was reported in the story. If they won $70,000 with ony $86,000 worth of tickets they got back almost 82% of the ticket price. Either the investigation hasn't uncovered another $55,000 +/- worth of stolen tickets, or they won far more often than should be expected.
In Ky the lottery tickets show the time they were printed. Can't they just look at the times t

need some advice-antivirus
Not trying to minimize the importance of a secure network. But it's just that the chances of getting a hacker in your network are miniscule next to the chances of getting infected via e-mail or download link. Even a basic router with no extra settings is secure enough for most people. Anyone who wants to strengthen their security with MAC address filtering, etc., is certainly not doing any harm.

need some advice-antivirus
I hope that you get rid of the on your computer. Everyone here gave excellent advice. It would help you tremendously if you would block intrusions at every point possible that is available to you.
You didn't mention how you access the internet. If you access it through a wireless connection and your router has Internet security built in, that is another access point that you can utilize to block out intruders. Some routers let you limit network access to PC's with specific MAC addresses (wi

Where are you going to move to that dosen't have all those problems you mentioned? Every modern and not so modern country has corruption. Even the tribes living in remote jungles that haven't seen the outside world have corruption and druggies...lol
You might as well join a group of monks in Tibet.
You can't hide from the world's disease of greed and exploitation. Security guards at the gate of your mansion might give you some sense of security, but you eventually have to leave the house
