Do new games cannibalize other games?
I think it does happen, but it only lasts for a short time. New games are exciting for people to play, but I think after awhile, it goes back to how it was before or at least to an extent of what it was like before. I tend to be a budget player, but when a new game comes along, I like to try it out. I usually only play Powerball and Wild Card 2, but recently we got Hot Lotto and a Raffle game and I've added those to my budget . Although, the raffle will only be for a limited time.

PA Millionaire Raffle
Hopefully it works like that. From a lot of stuff we've learned on this board though, I don't think anyone could guarantee that an Indiana or Tennessee raffle would work that way.
I do wonder if a state presented a raffle that feel far short of expected sales, and the winners were only drawn from sold tickets, if they'd conduct another raffle.
As johnph77 stated:
PA expects to take in $12.5M and pay out $6,479,000. Payout percentage is 51.832%.
So I'm thinking of sale fell really

The Ohio Lottery is having a New Years raffle but hasn't posted the details yet. I'll probably have a ticket in both raffles.

TN's new $20 Scratch off.
i went to wildwood, georgia today to buy my megamillions futures and i decided to play georgia fantasy 5 while i was there too since i dont play the rng lotto 5 here anymore. i saw an ad for this $20 scratcher at the gas station. the $20 scratcher and the raffle are coming at the same time so you are correct about the odds of the scratch off and the top tier prize but we will wait to see if the raffle moves faster this time than last time. i dont know if the players will spend $20 on a holiday
