united nations lottery question?
It's a complete scam. If you got a letter in the mail, throw it away. If it arrived via e-mail, delete it.

Elders fleeced in lottery scam
That same scam is making its way around in my town now..it has been on the TV more than once but there are still some who are non believers...I guess with Christmas coming a lot of people would rather believe that Santa is giving them this money .

is this a joke
I won over 20 times on that one. But still have yet to see a penny. As well as the Nigerian lottery that I won $50 million about 10 times now. fortunately I decided not to send them the $3,000 in tax money for my prize, as with that kind of money you would think it could be deducted from the prize amount very easily. That is if it was a LEGITIMATE prize. DING DING SCAM ALARM RINGING!

Elders fleeced in lottery scam
Do these people live on the fifth level of a silo? No television, no newspapers, no radio, no telegraph station, no neighbors, no one to talk to? How isolated do you have to be to miss the news flash: Scam, do not participate! Its not like this hasn't happened before.

Scam website

Better Business Bureau warns of lottery-winning scams
I would think that sending money would be a big tip-off to most people. If you didn't enter it odds you didn't win anything and it's a scam.
