Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Great hit skeptic! The $20 GRD has some of the best odds on the $500 prize out of any previous $20 game. Also, I picked this up today as well. Not as impressive, but a win nonetheless.

The problem with systems
It's not bad enough I have to deal with 1000 to 1 odds in the Pick 3 Lottery, but I also have to contend with up to seven pretest drawings before the actual official draw LOL -- ok if your thoughts on 1000-1 is too much to overcome, why not go 210-1. find the box hit first then turn it into a straight or combo. Oh yeah it's easier said than done lol.. Of course you know this so does everyone. Track in groups maybe, maybe not..

I read this piece online which l found rather interesting. It stated that the average Mass resident plops down $514 a year on the lottery. Delaware NY- $ 400 a year or $33.00 a month. Source: CBSNews- July 24th 2018.- By Aimee Picchi.( Moneywatch) The Mega Millions jackpot: What are the odds of winning? * So if we spending $33.00 a month, our odds are the same as this recent winner, no more, no less.

Why do people here congratulate potblockers?
I feel like you do about the 2nd prizes for MM and PB. A long while ago I heard someone (I can t remember who but it was someone with more than a general knowledge of the odds) talk about the games once and they mentioned you should think about the 2nd prize like a separate game. After giving it some thought I could see their point. Sure, I would love to win it all (and keep JJ from doing so) but even the second prize would make a huge difference in retirement plans.

Why do people here congratulate potblockers?
I've said this before. I play MM and PB not only for the jackpot, but also for the million dollar prize. Why? Because at my age it sets me up. I also play my state lotto. However, the odds for MM and PB second prize are less than half the odds of the state lotto jackpot. Oh, and I play other games as well. It's gambling. No one's greedy. State or players. But it has been proven, through ticket sales that people buy more MM and PB tickets when jackpots get really big. It's really a to ea

Is it worth playing the lottery with those odds?
Not worth playing. You will probably win a lesser prize, and then Powerball will rip you off. If you match three white balls and the Powerball, they will pay you $100. For this, since the odds are 1 in 14,494 and the wager amount is $2, I think they should pay you at least $12,500 for this. Until Powerball does this, I will not play unless there is a Top 5 jackpot AND the drawing takes place on a major holiday.

Winning ticket for $522 million Mega Millions jackpot sold in California
Then there is the flip side of living in one of those top 5 states and hearing winner from FL, winner from FL, winner from FL but it's never you. Bottom line is, the odds are so high MM is now averaging 6 jackpots a year.

What are they thinking of (Mega Millions)?
Wellllllllllllllllllllll, since the MM folks took between 4-6 hours for the last big winner to be declared.. Anyone want to take odds how long it will take them this time ?
