CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
now that exactly what i want from a $30 ticket - approx 80% payout of higher and reasonable odds still want to see the breakdown of the odds for CA but even NC getting in on the $30 ticket action shortly and also think that u got lucky that it nowhere near as bad as NY's $30 (anything above $100 is very hard to win and the next prize up, $500, has odds close to 800 to 1 where I have seen other states having odds of close to 200 to 1 for $500)

Would you stop playing the lottery if you were restricted to Quick Picks?
While I have nothing against buying QPs, when I was playing 6/49 games, I looked at it like winning two 14 million to 1 drawings. But that's still less odds than the 258 million to 1 MM odds. I don't see the relevance of 1 LP member out of over 167,000 saying they hate QPs , but then again it's much better odds than the minimum 175 million odds against someone getting a QP with the same numbers as a self pick.

Powerball Odds This October
What about Mega Millions? Odds of winning $1 million there are 1 in 18,492,204 which would make a $2 bet roughly odds of 1 in 9,246,102 better than the new PB. Not to mention the top prize odds are better. Powerball being $2 will probably have higher record jackpots though, we'll see.

Powerball Odds This October
Has anyone calculated the odds for matching 5 + 0 when the change is made? I'm bad at math or I'd do it myself. Apparently 4 + 1 odds will be 1 in 11,688,053 (right now it's 1 in 5,153,632) and the prize will be raised from $10K to $50K. But I haven't found anything on 5 + 0.
