I expected it to be higher. Back in the billion dollar run, it was $500 M and rolled to $675 M and bumped to $700 M the same day. Of course, the higher it goes, the more tickets sold, and the higher odds there will be more than one winner, which is fine by me.

I had to research some of the different articles related to the price increase. Finally one state said the same thing that Kingofearth says. Also mentioned the odds are winning the jackpot are decreasing, that is not good news.

Can you tell me why the odds for $7000000 cash blowout decreased if the top prize was not won? Same with $500000 in Grants. Last time you wrote that the factor is 5.5 and now it decreased when the top prizes stayed the same?

I do but it doesn't necessarily help my wins. Some games just suck by default no matter how pretty they look. Tennessee had 2 particular $5 games I could never win anything on, but another $5 game I had won consistently on. I've been debating on the merits of buying over $10 tickets...but I prefer to stretch my $20 on several tickets than to blow it on 1 or 2 and then lose sleep wondering if the next one was a big one. Only to buy again and lose again lol. I've done a few $10 and $20 tickets

I know right? It was post after post claiming the odds were way too easy. Then it was post after post of being guaranteed a win if you live in X or Y state. So I find it really odd that after all this time of buying of him buying tickets, he hasn't won such easy to win games. Why would he need to promise the clerk anything when it'd be so ridiculously easy for her to win a jackpot on her own?
