This is my supercash playing strategy... I change the numbers almost daily based on the previous numbers drawn. I pick one good set of numbers then play them twice on the same ticket. The odds are increased slightly but any winnings are doubled for each ticket. Usually I run the same ticket 4 times a day.

All of these big multi state games changing their game matrixes is really starting to get old. Not just Mega Millions, but Powerball, Lucky for Life, and Hot Lotto have all been restructured these past few years to have significantly worse JP winning odds. Barring a big half billion $ jackpot I'll be playing only Mass Megabuks Doubler and Tri State Megabucks from now on.

Why even offer both MegaMillions and Powerball. They are basically the same game now with similar odds. Just drop MegaMillions and only offer Powerball or visa versa. The only benefit to MegaMillions was the lower ticket price. They can add one drawing to whichever game they keep to ensure steady ticket revenue throughout the week.

I usually only buy one play for Powerball and a couple for MegaMillions...looks like I will be just buying one of each from October onward. When I win, I will cease playing the lottery. I can't understand why jackpot winners always say they will continue buying tickets even though the odds of hitting the jackpot again are astronomical. I adopted the philosophy of giving myself at least one chance to win, so I don't drop $20, $50, or $100 just because the annuitized jackpot amount is over $100 mi

I'd only buy tickets when the jackpot got really high. My $1 state lottery, with much better odds, goes without any one winning for 6-9 months at a time. I realize more people buy MM PB tickets, so better chance of having a winner, but still...

Keno has been my game of choice because within each drawing there are tens of thousand of possible patterns to try and match. Each drawing is like playing 184,756 lotto drawings. I've managed to hit 9 out of 10 twice and averaged above the statistical average on the 8's and 7's. Every strategy that I have explored always breaks down to the base 1 in 4 odds.
