I agree with getting rid of the $10M prize. They could add about 200 $100k prizes or 2,000 $10k prizes or something that makes it more likely to win some life changing money with better odds.

The proof is in the pudding. Regardless whether you think you have a strategy or not if you aren't beating the overall odds of winning something by quite a bit you might as well be buying QPs. As far as having a goal, if it's not winning a jackpot or at least more than you spend then you should find a cheaper hobby. Neither one is likely but at least you can dream and chasing dreams can be costly.

I have tried looking at Fantasy Five( and playing it) and it's not easy getting 3 out 5. Here try this ,pick numbers without playing and see how you do ? Don't have to share it with the board just do it for the fun of it and see how you do. I looked into wheeling numbers but if you can't consistently get at least 3 out 5, its losing grounds. Getting 2 out 5 is a free ticket and, those normally don't do much, I say 85% of them are losers, once in a while maybe one will yield 3 out of 5. I'm st

The bias is not in the locating the patterns. The bias comes into play when it comes time to select the numbers as almost every strategy is about limiting choice to the smallest set of numbers with the highest probability of appearing together. For example if a strategy produces a number like 1,2,3,4,28 the average person will be hesitant to play that number because the odds of four sequential numbers appearing together in the same drawing offends our senses. VA has had 51 draws for February.... 20 of those draws have had the number 0..... and I'm sure there will be more in the next 5 draws..... playing numbers with 0 are your best Odds....

to compare games i like to convert the odds into a percent chance of not winning u know %99.9 to not win a pick 3, % 99.999999..,. for powerball then just count up all the 9's after the decimal point

Yeah i was really taken aback by the odds of 6 number games. The Florida lotto and Colorado lotto have overall odds between 1:35 and 1:62. Horrible. A $1 scratch off has better than that lol. Well based on the information so far, i think i might lean back to scratch offs. I just haven't been winning anything on these number draws.
