Yeah, I noticed that Powerballl and Mega Millions are now only paying about 60% for the cash option. There are some state lotteries like Washington that only pay 50% on their six-number games. What are your thoughts on the added drawings per day? Do you think it will be easier to hit a number now or not? I, for one, am having a hard time with picking from the two draws, I don't see how adding another drawing will help my odds. I also heard that the payouts will be less.

My guess is a realization of how long the odds are and therefore play accordingly, an understanding that they are still young and control their destiny in life whereas a lot of older people see at as the only way they will get rich in their remaining years.

Exactly. I want more bang for my buck. Look at MM vs Hot Lotto for example. I you spent 1 buck and got 5 numbers on Hot Lotto you get 30k where as for MM you get 1 Million. And that's a big if at that. Hitting all 5 numbers without the bonus. Why continue dropping money on something with supposedly better odds when you don't hit anyways but if you ever did, your payout is low.
