Wow...this has gotten ridiculous. I don't see how that can be legal but I'm sure they have some loop hole they jump thru to do it. The odds of winning are even harder than we all expected.

Interesting, I'll try to get some information on book locations for HG and will share them with you all.
I've said it once, and will say it again...FL Lottery needs to reevaluate many of their practices. They claim destroying books is to ensure integrity, but a lack of accounting of top prizes within the destruction process can skew an overall game's odds. Store owners have even expressed concerns about this happening in the past. I had a conversation with one of the owners of AK Kwik,

That's a great return for a $10 roll. I've seemed to notice that when a roll is hot, you get multiple big winners, despite the odds telling you otherwise. With that profit, you can buy two more rolls and still end up where you started even if the other two rolls are average. In any event, congrats.

Florida Holiday Millionaire Raffle 2016
Interesting. With a week left, curious to see if it will hit the 600k mark. I sure hope it doesn't get beyond ha so that our odds will be 1 in 86k at hitting the $1M and $50k prizes.

Which techniques work? How do you increase chances of winning?
Go on your knees and pray....... if its your time you will hit something.Remember the odds are against you but if you don't play you cant win. There is no shortcut to success some of us have over 30 -40 years experience......it only comes with time. Investigate systems and study study...goodluck

Roots or sums for reduction.
I don't use sums at all, just roots. Track whether they are even or odd using combined draws. Look for patterns / trends. Odds have a slight bias, simply because there are more. 1,3,5,7,9. Evens 2,4,6,8. The only number with a RS of 0 is 000.

Lottery ticket worth $1,000 dropped in Salvation Army kettle
What are the odds of finding a $1,000 lottery ticket in a Salvation Army kettle? Is it better than hitting the Power Ball jackpot?

Illinois lawmakers call for investigation into lottery
OMG! Exactly! Thinking the same thing. Where is the logic in their comment?!!! I mean, suppose nothin' from nothin' = nothin', so yeah, guess = same odds for all players! Nothin'!
