Challenge Odds ?Reply
Something doesn't seem right. If those odds are correct, we should be seeing more matches in the challenges than we actually get. With 20+ players on each draw, with those odds, we'd expect to see 1 or 2 4+0 matches each time. But we don't. I tried the lottogenie calculator, and get 1 in 398 for matching 4, disregarding the PB. Right? Wrong?

my experience is different. I have won more on pick 4 than pick 3. I have hit pick 3 more times as the odds would indicate. I prefer pick 4 to pick 3 . I look for patterns that are missing or out longer than normal.

I have seen players win in all kinds of games against all kinds of odds. the fact that statistics can not define the logic in this, only further proves my point that I have been making since I joined this site. the lottery is not random, and statistical odds never tell the entire story. Me..i never pay attention to odds, they dont exist for me..but if it were me i would then come up with another set of numbers for a while an d maybe go back to the originals..lucky you. I also had my regular numbers come up and would have gotten four but i did not play them for some reason..it hurt my soul..lol

Wouldn't it be ironic if the jackpot is found in the 680k range? I mean, I posted pictures of the last two jackpot wins. I believe the last jackpot hit was in the 580k range. I think we assumed 720k-737k range mostly since that would be right toward the end of the print. I've even come across books in the 590k or early 600k range, but didn't play anything beyond 1 ticket on those. @ MrGray - Wow, 1 in 145 for $500? That's incredible! Now that's a $20 ticket worth playing.

I need to limit myself a bit more, my luck doesn't last very long. Last couple weeks just been getting burned on the new tickets. I tried 1 more Falcons tickets today that lost. I'll just wait for the new tickets on Tuesday. Hopefully I have better luck on these. I'll try the $3 Poker, $5 ticket and maybe the $20 ticket if the odds are good.

I'm with you all the way on this. I'd much prefer lower top prizes, but more of them, or having the some of those top dollar amounts scratched to propagate the money down (particularly to the $500 level) to better the odds.
