Odds of someone winning either a MM or PB jackpot twice is most likely in the tens of billions to one. It has never happened and I doubt it ever will.

I'm not too excited about $540 million in the lottery jackpot. With the odds at 1 in 259 million, you can have it. I'll get excited when the lottery jackpot gets to the $1 billion mark. Now, that's something to dream about.

Oh I understood chasing $10 Holiday. It was new, had both grand prizes left, and I doubt FL Lotto was going to let that one end with none of the grand prizes won. I think that'd piss people off to no end. And I could certainly be wrong about 200MS. My point was simply that with its age, the odds of a destroyed ticket are higher than 50x which all the numbers looked better for (age, percent of grand prizes supposedly left).

Considering the odds on any given day for mega, it's probably best to play a scratch off instead. But I myself just play the drawing games for jackpots lately. i hate the feeling of scratching off up to 6 or 7 scratchers and not seeing anything come back. I guess if I'm going to loose my dollar or two in lotto, I want to go for a sizable pot and have a little hope in the back of the mind for the rest of the day after buying a ticket.

If I wanted to make a point I would have said something like the odds of winning $500 (pick-3 straight payoff) playing a $1 MM ticket is 52,835, but $500 is the most you can win on a $1 pick-3 ticket. I really doubt most MM are playing to win $500.

They asked why is it taking so long to win more than $2? as if it's easy for one ticket to get a 2 + 1 match and beat odds of 1 in 473.

I just love the odds 1 in 30 for all ... $25 $30 $40 $50 $100 ... always ticks you off when you hit the lower amounts ... like the ones that hitting $10 is 1 in a 100 and hitting $6 is 1 in 150 and you keep getting the $6 wins

For the most part. Hard to compare as the prize levels are different. Flamingo has a 150 and 400 prize, Mono doesn't. But overall, yah worse odds it looks like once you get to $100 and up.
