Is it worth going to an anonymous state?
four4me-I am not concerned about people per se in my choice of anonymity. It is wanting my children and wife to have the sort of peace and quiet we desire.I would move to agated community. As far as family members opening their mouth's, thats on them. They can, and probably will, but even if someone approached us, I'm fine with that, as long as they understand NO and GET OFF MY PROPERTY. If they don't comply, they answer to 3 Rottweilers, cousins Smith Wesson, and or a security force.

Pa. Man Charged With Redeeming Forged Winning Lottery Ticket
I guess he did not know about the bar coding, and assumed the lottery only goes by what the ink says. There may also be some watermarks, or hidden ones as well. If a dollar bill has security features, you can bet that a potential $300 million dollar lottery ticket is going to have them also.

PA Unlucky for Life
Ever consider poker? Its all cash option. Longevity is obviously not your strong suit, so stick with five card, seven card takes too long. For me, any increase in Social Security is a good thing. Not a great things, but a good thing.

PA Unlucky for Life
No, I would still play either way. But obviously the cash option is going to be lower than the annuity, so it would not be worth me playing as much then. A lifetime of checks would be a great security blanket even if you are not a millionaire technically. But the way lucky for life is set up, it actually provides MORE funds for seniors over time than a cash option would.

Thieves uncover hole in Okla. lottery planning
When you're just starting up, this kind of flap is simply unconscionable. Part of it is a lack of PR management - we haven't hired security people yet ??? Are you kidding me? A lottery's biggest asset is its integrity - I certainly thought Scroggins was smarter than this but now I have real doubts. On the other hand, I doubt the store even knew they were strolen at 5 a.m.

Dad's Powerball lottery win causes honor student to miss exam
They will need to hire a security firm to keep people off of them. It will be like a pit bull seeing and smelling blood. Its ashame. What ashame. But they have time to turn things around before it becomes a nightmare.

Oregon businessman has record Powerball lottery ticket
after taxes is an open ended term. Assuming you have a social security card, that initial hit of 25% is only for marking. The real rounds come in once the target is established.

Officially, no claim on Powerball jackpot
Maybe people in the ABC story is still in shock. They obviously failed to plan anything farther then a cup of coffee each morning. I gotta wonder what their private business is. I hope it has nothing to do with Homeland Security.

Is it Legal if...............
If you win the lottery and get letters asking for money, save them as they will be among the things you give to the police if anyone you don't know starts to give you trouble. Wonder if lottery security helps out jackpot winners who feel threatened by bottom feeders begging for free cash. The Lottery Winner Protection Program.BobP

"Taping" in advance & Conspiracy Theories
I actually know Glen Burns, the guy that draws the Mega Millions here in Atlanta. He is the local weather man for WSB television. He lives in my neighborhood in Roswell, GA and he has said the security for Mega Millions is amazing. I'll get more details when we go fishing together again.
