A player might have success adding 1 to each of the previous three digit, but in the long run the probability is 1 in 1000. Or they could add 1, subtract 1, use the same digits, and mirror and get the exactly the same odds as any other 64 three digit numbers. I've hit pick-3 and pick-4 enough times to understand the 3 or 4 digits I happened to play were drawn.

It should be the huge prize that gets people to buy tickets but the odds deter them from buying more. The pools have changed too many times to increase jackpots ,as a result many people don't bother to buy a ticket.

Nope. We're still in anomaly territory. Maybe we could chalk up the $9M as a fluke, but a $20M rollover at this stage with a jackpot that also has a correspondingly high cash value, is still really low. Unexplainably low. Maybe people started looking at the odds because we have reduced sales in MUSL lotteries but an increase in sales for scratchoffs.

I played 367 and 358. For the 33 and 77 pairs I might think of pairing them with a 1, 0, or 6 even though the 9 is the hottest out of all digits for the past 3-4 days. Always appreciate the info Long Odds. Good luck all
