back in the day i played every draw, but when they increased the odds here to 1 in 40 mill to win the powerball, i decided to wait for a $10M pot. just because it starts at $2m basically i dont want to encourage them.

Definitely not into spending gas money on 1:300 mil odds every week. This time however since there was such a media frenzy over the billion jackpot win, I figured hell even if I took a cash value of 40 million that's more than enough to change my life and I figured if I won I'd fly under the radar. I normally don't play until 300 million. ...maybe tonight is my night!

One ticket per drawing for MM and PB with purchases of at least 10 multi-draws at a time for each (depending on how much cash I have on me). I always play the same numbers. $6 a week. When it went over a billion, I spent a tad bit more without really improving my odds.

The 19 vs 20 is probably just semantics. There were 19 rolls before it was hit on the 20th drawing. If the current run has a progression that matches the last one from here on, and it doesn't get hit, we'd see the 1.5 billion figure on 3/16. Of course it still has to beat the odds for that to happen

Yes, totally random. Odds of getting the first powerball number right are 1:75, the next ball 1:74, and so on. There is no advantage to any number being picked whatsoever.

Best way to spend $100 on lottery?Reply
I suggest going after the smaller games with smaller odds at first and then use your winnings to wager on the bigger games, the best candidate would be the play 4. I buy just 1 ticket in all the games each week( Fantasy 5, Lotto, Mega Million and Powerball). There would $60 left to wager on the Play 4 You might have Your own system or choose to go with predictions :) the choice is Yours.
