What was once seen as a rare opportunity to win a large jackpot is now considered normal. Players have come to expect there will always be a large jackpot available to anyone willing to buy a ticket.

That means we should expect a starting jackpot to be won once in every 13 to 17 rolls. Since there are seldom more than a dozen winners per year there are seldom more than a dozen starting jackpots, which means the starting jackpot should only be hit every year to year and a half.

I hadn't been buying any PB tickets because of their $2 price tag but with its odds going up in October and MM just having been hit, sounds like if I'm going to ever buy any again now is the time before the matrix change.

Go through this years jackpot winner list for mega millions and powerball, hopefully that will wake you up that it does matter where you live. The people that live in smaller populated states have to overcome the high odds of buying more tickets then those more populated states, which is impossible.

Since any set of numbers can be drawn then a SP will never have worse odds than a QP. if a system player can pick up on a few things then it's to their advantage but not for a single game play but over the course of many games.
