Powerball heats up with $317 million jackpot
Actually that number is the odds chart which includes fact you could win a lower prize. if you want the real number of combinations just use a calculator and you will see that with 59*58*57*56*55*35=21,026,821,200 which is 21+Billion combinations. It's not worth even trying to play every single possible combination. PEOPLE the odds chart are just that an odds chart which includes multiple ways to win a prize. simple math can always tell you what the real number of combinations are available for

Wyoming Lottery to start its first in-state game in March
Not sure the exact odds, but a 5/45 game has odds of worse than 1 in 1 million of winning the jackpot, and odds of 2nd place is 1 in several thousand. For comparison, many Cash 5 games are 5/43, which are difficult as it is to hit. I'm surprised such a low population state would go with a 5/45 game, especially at a $5 price-point; $2.50 per play, since each ticket contains 2 sets of numbers - still a lot of money considering the lousy odds.
Overall payout of 68% is very good, but deceptive, s

New York Dream Team 1/1/15 - 1/31/15
What is the appeal of the pick 10? every day payouts in the range of $30,000 to all players- miniscule. best expectation for a somewhat reasonable payout is $300 if you hit 8 of 10 numbers- odds of that are 1 in 7,384; odds of a str8 hit in p3 is 1 in 1,000 for payout of $500 for same $1 spent; massively better odds with a higher payout in p3. If you get 7 of 10 numbers in pick 10 at a cost of $1- with a 1 in 621 chance-, you win $40; in p3, get a $1 box win on a 6-way number, double the payout

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I think Scratchers aren't true odds because very rarely do they sell every ticket within a game. Lots, millions of them, in cases of slow moving games, are sitting in warehouses and may never be released to retailers. If all tickets were on retailers shelves concurrently across the state then we can say the odds are true odds.
