have seen i think 8 or 9 $10 in a row losers - funtimz i think u should stay away from the new ones too unless u like low payouts and bad odds - might just play numbers and take 5 here if at all

I don't know about other states but Ohio added MM and PB to attract players for its local games, not replace them. Larger odds and poorer sales for the multi-states games probably means increased sales for local games.

Thanks so much! I'll buy a few tickets next week and feel it out....should be interesting to see what other smaller prizes are offered and the odds for those as well.

Wow! Good question! The odds of winning -specially for bigger jackpots-are just so astronomical to begin with. I got to think at some level most of us already know we are probably not going to win. Yet we still play! Its the fun of the chance even with the better snowball chance in H-E-double L de facto.

I'll tell you that the lotteries calculate the odds of each game to be sure they're profitable, but I'm not saying that they rig the drawings. I'm saying they don't need to rig the drawings, because the games are structured in such a way that they will be profitable for the state. That's the price we all pay to ensure that the lottery continues to exist. If they lost money, they would not stay in business.

New NY games - $1 triple black cherry or something like that (slots game w tripler), $2 whole lotta 100s ($100 symbol, 2x, 5x), same old $5 ticket called fantastic 5s (but plays like the old $5 7-11-21 i think) and $10 quick $600s (top prize $600 and hope there a boatload of them otherwise not worth playing - think have to be odds less than 1:2500 to even be worth it by a payout perspective but will have to do the math after work so will not be playing the $10 on day 1

Thanks for that reply. Even with the better odds, still did not hit anything. Between my two tickets and the 13 from the work pool, not a single number hit, not even for 100 dollars.

Based on the posted raffle results, sales fell short by around 38,000 tickets; not a sell out. PA Lottery still made a bundle. However, PA Lottery lost bragging rights for always selling out - this time they didn't, and appeared to be caught off guard. PA Lottery still drew 6,000 winning tickets as advertised. So those who played (I didn't) had around a 7.5% better chance of winning a prize. Overall stated odds is 1 in ~83, but improved to ~1 in 77 due to around 462,100 tickets being sold ins

No, but I do know that the even triads, hits more often......0, 2 or 4 would always be my top 3 keys to put wit the odds only....thats all I have...I usally wait until 5 days go by before I play...or hand pick states that went aleast 5 days without a hit or 6 days without a hit,and play then..it works
