CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I would be interested to hear what the lottery officals would have to say about clerks holding games for certian players. To me that is a seller working with a buyer to increase there odds and i wouldnt be suprized if there is agreement with the buyer and seller to split certian winnings if they hold a game for them to purchase. Call the Lotto police, they will look into it.

Anyone ever hear of the "Simpson Effect"?
It disappeared??/ That is its own paradox. Actually I saw your name and came over here. I am now going to quote people's text and ask for an email notification so I can find these. Still learning the lottery post ropes. I will do my homework on yours...thanks for the response! I see there are a lot of math geek types (my second major undergrad)...maybe thats why I like Keno and the lottery (well I like the Fantasy Five...in Cal...better odds)

Florida snags the 80m dollar Powerball Jackpot
In Texas, our 6/54 game has worse odds than MM or PB second prize tiers. And I would be very happy to win up to $5 million on MM, or even $1 million on PB (I megaply, but I don't powerplay).

Cash 4 Life Coming to PA. For current players in Other States, this is Bad!
While the odds of a Top Prize split is very small, the game is flawed nevertheless. More who play, worse the payouts can get. Doesn't scale. Lottery officials know this and hence the numerous liability limits; burying the details in marketing materials. Be an ok game for in-instate or even a couple of moderate population states (ie. PA NJ) selling together. However, Cash4Life has no viable future in its current incarnation being sold across numerous states. As the recent frequent Powerball hi

Standing in line ready to purchase a lottery ticket and overhead... .
Got to agree rcb, the odds are too great to expect to win. Perhaps he should give playing every other draw, that way he would boy perturbed only half the time

Being tempted to check my numbers regularly!
No daily ticket checking for me : What's the hurry? Given the odds, we know all too well that we probably have a losing hand. I want to read PB Winning ticket purchased @ ... which is EXACTLY where I get/got mine.

New England's Lucky For Life.
Yes besides L4L, Hot Lotto and Mega Millions have changed their game matrix to make it much harder to win the JP, and Powerball is about to do the same thing. In their attempt to create bigger jackpots they have alienated those of us who dislike ridiculous odds. I'm sticking with my favorite state game and only playing the big games when the JP gets up there close to half a billion.

Powerball powerplay
I don't use the powerplay or megaplier option but if did it would probably be the megaplier because you have to win something before it counts and MegaMillions has the best overall odds of winning something. Admittedly if I won something playing PowerBall the prize would be much greater but I'm not a gambler.

Absolute proof that it's way too easy to win for winners...
He is only speaking of jackpot winners who win another jackpot. When you consider the number of jackpot winners and the numbers of them who win a second jackpot, their odds do seem better than those of regular players who have never won a jackpot.
