Do you think even if you play for years the chances of a decent win are still impossible?Reply
Hi Bigbear29, To answer some of your questions I have no idea how many people win a second tier jackpot per year and ever since the matrix for MM changed to 75 balls it has brought about far less 2nd place winners. The reason I even play MM on occasion is in the hopes of a secondary prize since I always play with the multiplier with the extra dollar and a person could have a chance of winning from 2 to 5 million ( though after taxes it's much less). Thanks to everyone who pointed out how terrible the odds are and saying that I am still going to play this friday an hope for the best I believe that's what you're doing when you are gambling you are hoping that the odds fall in your favor.Maybe it will more likey maybe not but I like the game an the rest of the games with their terrible odds . somebody has won before maybe I will win...And I already have a ticket for Friday game. statistically it probably should not have happened until month 3! Statistically, it can happen any time, including 3 drawings in a row. If sales were always the same it would be just as likely on the 1st drawing as on the 50th. In terms of probability, it should average out to match the odds, so we should expect 1 jackpot winner for every 72.77 million tickets as a long-term average. If they sell 1 million tickets for every drawing we would expect, on average, 1 jackpot winner every 73 draw

The odds are never going to be on the people side thats for sure but this game made 14 people million dollars an if I not mistaken if someone hit it before the month is up this game would have made more people in one month a million dollars than any of the games did all year, not to mention how many people will go to Las Vegas an they might win . odds are unfair on all games but when they offer more people a chance to get a million an a trip for 5 dollars I gladly take them odds.

It is a futile effort! I used to enjoy playing this game back before the matrix change when the grand prize odds were in the 1:14,000,000 or so range. I even hit a 4 of 5 last year for a $100 payout. Since they more than tripled the GP odds I've avoided this game like the plague. For the same $2 I prefer to play MM with megaplier for a chance to win $2-$5 million on a 5 of 5 hit with substantially better odds of 1:18,500,000.
