PA Lottery New Pick-2 Game - details not released yet - any ideas?
The Pennsylvania Bulletin weekly update occurs at 9 am this morning, which may have details about the new Pick-2 game. Hoping it's like OLG's. As for MMC, PA and other states had no practical choice to abandon the game after Texas left, which put the game into a death spiral. Lack of player understanding was an issue, but not the only one. Even many savvy players, who understood MMC, played it cautiously, if at all. The odds were terrible, and felt like a rip-off. Many have mentioned that

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Thanks mrcraft. If the winning ticket is sitting in the warehouse the odds of winning are Zero. Again it's like rolling a die without a 6. But you need a 6 to win.

Are my odds BETTER than yours?
People have played for the first time, bought 1 ticket and won{so they claimed}. People have also bought 1000's of tickets and lost. Disregard the odds and just play the games you can afford to play if you truly like those games.

Woman almost gave away her $1.3M lottery ticket
California Lottery is going backwards. They raised the odds for most top prizes on their scratchers in 2014. They improved the 2nd chance drawings by reducing payouts by millions (sneaky marketing is on-going). So, I'm not surprised they take a bigger cut when calculating the annuity payout than other states.

Ohio New Year Raffle
It will only be a case of bait and switch if they announce no drawing will be held because of low ticket sales. They announce every year their intent to sell a fixed amount of tickets so only someone with no knowledge about lotteries would think their odds would improve if they sold less tickets than planned. States don't have raffles to lose money.

Are my odds BETTER than yours?
Well, your odds of winning are the same on any given draw. So, in this example, it doesn't matter which draw ,1st or 30th, you pick to play your 30 lines.

How to play with less numbers ?
Well, it doesn't really matter since the odds are ,very much, stacked against you. So, no matter the method, it all comes down to luck.

Are my odds BETTER than yours?
Well, it doesn't matter if it's the same set or not. But, what matters is the size of the set. In other words, how many numbers you play each time. For example, your odds are better if you play 30 sets for one draw rather than playing one set for 30 draws.
