PA Raffle Countdown to 500,000 ...
Not sure what they'd do, but if they still draw as if all 500,000 were sold, then the odds for players remains exactly the same. However, the lottery faces some potential risk running a drawing that way...
If distribution of the large prizes is relatively even, the overall payout percentage will still be ~50%. However, if the large prizes are mostly drawn the lower numbered, actually sold tickets, then the lottery could take in less profit. Or, conversely, potentially earn much more profit, i

PA Raffle Countdown to 500,000 ...
Interesting thoughts Ron, thanks for sharing. Say they don t sell all their tickets, for example only 450K are sold, does the lotto buy the remaining 50K, or is the raffle drawn with 450K as the limit and thus increasing the odds of winning? People would scream conspiracy if the lotto bought the remaining tickets and one of the 1 million dollar prizes was in that final 50K range. If I think they will be discounted, I should probably hold off to the New Year to buy anymore to save some cash.

You can park that combo with 0x6. Have you looked recently at how far out the 0x6 front-back pair is? 832 draws out or something? The odds of that (against that) are off the hook, like 0.023% (4200:1). For a pair to skip an entire year?!? That's crazy!

Will you play Powerball more often before the Matrix change in 2015?
I doubt it since the overall odds of winning something will be better after the matrix change. I've seldom played PB since it price increase and will probably continue to only play MM of the multi-state games because of its cheaper price.

All you do is take the pairs like 14 36 and make four combos from those 4 numbers and you get 143 146 136 436. I'm just wheeling the 2 pairs. Then do the same thing with the 12 34 pairs and so on. I repeated the top 3 pairs 14 12 42 to get extra numbers. Hope this helps Makenmo. It's best if you have 2 evens 1 odd or 2 odds 1 even

Combination 146 in the Key = 4 Chart (above) fell as 164 this evening. Pair 46 (a +22 method pair) is highlighted in red under column D. If you look at the sums from the last ten drawings, it's hard to spot a short-term trend that might help you select a combination. However, one might consider that the sum 11 had not hit for the past 60 days when the key was equal to 4. Look in the SUM column in the High Frequency Pairs and High Odds Sums Chart to verify this.

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
Seems a very bad value to spend another $1 for a second chance with the same odds of hitting all six numbers, but pays $10 million verses $50 million+.
You're right, it is a bad value, but only if the jackpot is above a certain level; otherwise, it is still a good value because the lower prizes per dollar are actually higher than the base game. It sounds like a rip-off but you have to remember they are decreasing the allocation to the first 2 tiers and increasing to the lower ones. Because th

Post your scratch ticket results
Hi dr65,
Thanks so much for replying to me. I usually get no response when I have ask people who play scratchers if they spend a lot to get their wins. You really do have the golden touch since you win so much. When I use to chase scratchers, most of the time I lost or just broke even. I'm so much happier having myself on a budget and being realistic about my odds of ever winning a jackpot. Like yourself I do not understand why some people will buy so many tickets in a row, most of the time
