States pull the plug on Monopoly Millionaires' Club
Looked like a stupid game and $5 per play, terrible odds and the inability to pick your own property probably clinched it. This explains why California took down the page with all the bells and whistles announcing the game without notice. Was due to premiere in February here.

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
Yay! They are making this easier. With the higher odds and the lower second prize I can stop playing this game also. It is going the way of MMC.
$1,000,000 after taxes aint what it used to be.
It should be at least 5,000,000 if not 10,000,000 for second prize. A lump of a million is about half that after taxes.
500,000 for beating 10,000,000 to One second place odds?
HA!

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
Are you sure there's really a separate secondary game? My take is it will simply be like Mega Millions with all secondary prizes, including the $1 million, eligible to be multiplied. Powerplay is renamed Power Up, and the multiplier levels have been adjusted with a 10 X being included. In short, a Mega Millions clone with some minor differences.
You wrote in another thread, lotteries are concerned about jackpot fatigue; seek out ways to limit jackpot growth. And yet this proposal will seeming

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
Yeah having the other prizes multiplied up to 10 without an extra dollar is nice. But the game odds are crazy...although they already are so.

Texas Lottery suspends sales of Monopoly Millionaires' Club game
I was never a huge fan of this game. It looked interesting when it first debuted but now it looks like the shine is fading. The cost is absurd, the odds are not that attractive, and you can't even choose your own property to play. I hope it stays in Indiana for a little while longer, this gives me a chance to study the game and hopefully try it a least once.

Texas Lottery suspends sales of Monopoly Millionaires' Club game
Honestly, it seems like a stupid game--and the odds are terrible for a game that's $5 a play. Soon to be coming to California, I don't give two sh*ts.

Texas Lottery suspends sales of Monopoly Millionaires' Club game
Fact is most states don't need a multi-state game selling $5 tickets to offer a million dollar prize, they already have games with $1 tickets with larger prizes and better odds.

Input Playing the Various 6-49 Games
The simple answer to your question is yes, it was capped.
It was capped because the JP did not roll, it was a fixed 1 million dollars. Each and every drawing had a JP of 1 million. The first five winners of the JP were not pari-mutuel, meaning if five different players each had all six winning numbers, then they'd each receive one million before taxes. But that never happened once in the entire four and half years the game existed. I can remember two times when there were two JP winners, and
