Raffle rules applied to a jackpot game
With the frenzy over raffles, and the $500,000,000 MM jackpots that never happened despite the hype about California joining making it possible, what if there was a jackpot game that was conducted like a raffle- no draw until all the thiclets are sold?
In this case all the tickets would mean all the combinations.
Granted, no seasoned lotto player is going to play 1 2 3 4 5 6, but some people would play that just to get a drawing conducted.
The jackpot would build until all the tickets

Raffle or Not?
justxploring: Also, since a limited number of tickets are sold, I wish more people were able to just purchase one. I believe there were 1,250,000 sold in FL but I doubt if even a million people got a chance to play.
It took 6 weeks for Ohio to sell 500,000 $20 raffle tickets so I don't know how anybody could claim they didn't have a chance to buy a ticket . Because Pick-3s put limits on the number of tickets they can sell, on certain dates like Valentines day, St. Patrick day, September 11

S.C. Millionaire Raffle Tickets & Close Calls
South Carolina Millionaire Raffle ticket sales deadline coming up.
Tickets are $10 each, you are given a random number and it is computer generated. Only one million tickets will be sold until the deadline date. Rules and regulations mentioned winners would be posted Jan 8, 2007. My question is this. The number on your ticket also lets one know how many tickets have been sold already. If only half a million tickets are sold by the dead line, that would increase the odds of winning, woul

Weekly Raffle
For your consideration:
Every Sunday, have a ball drawn raffle. Only 50,000 tickets will be sold (from 49,999 to 0) and drawn by 5 side-by-side ball machines, the leftmost containing 0-4 and the others containing 0-9. The ticket cost is $5 each, and numbers are assigned consecutively.
The top prize is $100,000. There are 4 second prizes of $10,000, and 10 third prizes of $1,000. All prizes are paid lump-sum. The payout would be 60% ($150,000 per drawing), and would require 15 drawings to

New Florida Lottery raffle will make 10 millionaires
The Florida Lottery's newest game could be just the ticket to brighten up someone's holiday season, but the game won't be for everyone. That's because if you wait too long to buy a ticket, you could be shut out of the game.
This week, the Florida Lottery unveiled its new Holiday Millionaire Raffle game, but it's only selling 1.25 million tickets so when they're gone, they're gone.
The $20 tickets go on sale Monday, and will be sold through Dec. 30. But if they sell out before then w

New Penn. Lottery raffle game on sale next week
Price of Ticket : $20
Odds of winning your money back : 1 in 822
What does that equal : A bad game
But, Jimmy, the odds of winning $1,000,000 are so good .
Doesn't matter. You can buy the new $20 christmas scratch-off, where the odds of winning $1,000,000 are only 3.36 times slimmer than the raffle, but the odds of getting your money back (or better) are 251 times better than the raffle. Plus, the raffle pays out 50%, the $20 scratch-off pays 75%.
If you're going to spend $20

Washington Lottery published wrong numbers after raffle draw
DO YOU PEOPLE BELIVE ME NOW!!!!!! I have told everyone before on this site that the Washington State is the most corrupt lottery that has ever existed.
You people have NO IDEA How corrupt! The claims I make are true and are not fabricated.
My friend used to work at the Washington Lottery and she quit when they were running the balls because she said she watched them run the machine over 20 times until they got the 6 numbers that they wanted And over-heard the officaial say Yeah lets go wit

Michigan $733,968 Fantasy 5 jackpot winner wins again, this time a $1M Millionaire Raffle prize
I really liked the odds of the Millionaire Raffle game, so I bought several tickets, the winner explained to the Lottery. I won a $366,984 Fantasy 5 jackpot prize just over a year ago, so when I logged into my Lottery account and saw a notification that I'd won the $1 million Millionaire Raffle prize, I was in total disbelief that I'd won big again!
I stand to be corrected, but this sure does feel and sound like a Lottery Post member
Nway, whoever you are, congratulations on the win.

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I think they're doing a raffle as just a way to shake it up and try something different. Raffles do well in other states, so maybe they can catch on here too.
I'd think that a first or second time (in so many years) might fly under the radar, but bring awareness to this new way to play after it concludes and later if a new round begins. This round would advertise the next, so to speak, as people who didn't play hear about the winnings. A loss of revenue once isn't a loss if it becomes a spri
