Yeah, I understand how they get those numbers. But sometimes I wonder about the way the lottery represents the game odds on the more complicated games, which numbers they choose to publish, and the different formats and wording they use.

I agree. While the odds listed may be technically correct, the obviously forced long streaks with little or nothing make things very misleading and deceptive.

Well....... using just a little common sense..... just for fun, take a look at the odds of any game, especially any jackpot game. With odds we are playing at, they don't need to rig anything. But....... to each his own.......conspiracy.

MM and PB aren't the only lottery games available in most states but they are the most popular ones which proves people like their format the most. Most players say they would like games with smaller matrix and better odds of winning and yet such games aren't as attractive as the ones that are harder to win.

Considering the odds are 1 in 175,000,000 and there are 317,569,814 people in the US as of this second (according to the US Census Population Clock)...I guess you then have to try to imagine it's you against almost half the country during any Powerball draw. Maybe now you can understand why you aren't winning.

I have said this before that there is something wrong or it is not a true random lottery number picking game. But all you will get back is: it's the odds, or why would the lottery want to rig the game. There is always 1 or 2 winners only, and always, mostly in the same locations. For the smaller sales states, why spend the money to watch the same locations win the jackpot or 2nd tier winnings.

I saw the slip in the store the other night. A friend and I was like, is this a new game? I can imagine what this one will be like. It need to replace those games bevause the odds of winning out of those are hard.
