CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Its pretty pointless to enter the extra entry. That game is going to have so many entries the odds are going to be crazy. If CAlottery wants to get more people to enter or go to there site they need to add more chances per end of game prizes. It would be nice if they did 3 drawings for the top 3 prizes per end of game. For a $10.00 game, have a 1m, 20k and 10k draw...

Tweaking my PB and MM selections
My opinion is that unless you have a winning system, which by the way is seemingly impossible with huge matricies, it doesn't make a difference what combos you choose to stick with or change. You still have to overcome incredible odds against you winning.

How Many Folks Gave Up On Powerball When It Went To $2?
I don't know about other folk, but I like truth. The odds are actually better as you've posted, but the lotteries do still make twice the money on the same losses while players lose twice the money for worse odds. Oh, but wait...the jackpots are much higher now which makes it worth it!! Yeah, that's it!! I get the point that people wanna play when the pot reaches a half billion dollars...I get it completely. Have you ever wondered, though, just how many folks may have already missed out on 'thei

How Many Folks Gave Up On Powerball When It Went To $2?
I just got back into playing PB and here's my reason... the odds are better for matching 5 numbers than MM. I'm playing for matching 5 white on PB and MM. Often I get two numbers on PB, even tho it doesn't pay anything. I buy 2 lines for PB (my own numbers) and I always play powerplay. I do powerplay because the little wins goes back into more tickets. So, I spend $12 a week on PB... its my entertainment with potential.

LOL it's real simple You can't win if you don't play . The guy that purchases one ticket has the best odds to win than the guy who doesnt buy a ticket at all

How Many Folks Gave Up On Powerball When It Went To $2?
I still play, but usually just one line. But I do not play the power option, because unlike mega millions, it does not increase the 2 mil prize structure. Plus the odds are better at hitting the pb as opposed to the mega, even tho both are astronomical...LOL. Besides, you can't win if your not in !!!

Scenario: You Come to the LP to Learn How To Better Your Odds
I learn nothing on LP and expected that before joining. I just joined the crowd for fun...reading news that LP posts on the front page and checking lottery results. The odds of winning the lottery? to each his/her own strategy.

Scenario: You Come to the LP to Learn How To Better Your Odds
I am here to learn something new and reduce my odds also. That's why I become annoyed when I click on a thread and find nothing but numbers. Numbers above me; numbers below me; not one word of how those numbers were obtained. Those who post nothing but numbers are doing nothing but pulling numbers out of thin air. I can do that for myself, thank you very much.

How Much Money Do You Spend Playing the Lottery in a Week?
I have not used the term or implied the use of an edge. I used the term negative situation, which is completely opposite of an edge, a positive situation. Least negative is better than worst negative, and this can actually be proven mathematically. For simplicity, excluding taxes and ticket cost:
Odds of 1 in 25,000,000 with Jackpot of $12,500,000 has an expected value of $0.50 Odds of 1 in 25,000,000 with Jackpot of $25,000,000 has an expected value of $1.00
It doesn't matter that your

wow i cant believe it ... LOL... i actually expected to see those digits .. based on odds and previously drawn numbers , that was actually a likely outcome unlike almost every number that has been drawn lately... the 0 should have been the first digit though... they saved themselves paying out some big straight money tonight ... ughhg ...
