Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle - XXIV
Ron, have you ever considered applying for a job with the PA Lottery? You really know how to motivate players. They could use a good man like you!
Might scoot over to PA soon and buy a few more. I didn't run a pool at work this time around. One of the guys who gets in regularly asked me if there was a July 4th raffle this year, and if so, was I was going to run a pool. I told him that there is a July 4th raffle, but I hadn't made up my mind yet if I wanted to run another pool. Still haven't

2017 PA Millionaire Raffle With Six EARLY BIRD Drawings!
The ticket counter is still gone from The PA Lottery's website. When I checked it this morning, it said Drawing is tomorrow! Play now! Ticket sales end at 8 PM on Saturday .
Kind of makes me think that The PA Lottery is thinking tickets wont sell out. Which is fine with me.
I dunno why the hell I'm so interested in knowing whether or not tickets will sell out. With my kind of lottery luck, it wont make any difference at all. Betcha I don't win a dime. If this is the last post I put in thi

Florida Holiday Millionaire Raffle 2016
I was surprised that Florida decided upon a max of 750,000 tickets to be sold. That's kind of high. In Pennsylvania, they have had many raffles, but I don't ever recall seeing more than a 500,000 ticket maximum.
State lotteries have to be careful with these things... Last year, with high profile publicity , PA announced they were going to hold four raffles per year, up from two. What a flop! Tickets didn't sell out for a couple of them, and they quietly cancelled the Fall 2016 raffle. My gues

Florida Holiday Millionaire Raffle 2016
I'm sure LP members (as well as myself) would be interested in knowing how many winners your 75 tickets produced, provided, of course, you'd be willing to share that information. I have to believe that you definitely will win some lower tier prizes, if not a top prize.
As for me, I have two tickets that my brother (he lives near Tampa) bought for me. In Pennsylvania's Millionaire Raffle, I have a total of 19. Five I bought for myself, and the other 14 are from the pool I run at work. Because

What would be your lottery wish for 2017?
Buying any ticket would only be like buying a raffle ticket if all combinations are in play, because that's the only way to guarantee that the winning combination is one that was sold. Even then, unlike in regular raffle games, there would only be one winning ticket unless the winning combination was one that had been sold more than once, or if more than one winning combination was drawn. And while it's very rare, there have been a few jackpots that sold enough tickets to use every combination i

Florida Holiday Millionaire Raffle 2016
I doubt the pace of ticket sales will slow down. If anything, sales will probably pick up. The surge in sales usually starts a day or two before Christmas and runs right up until the day before the drawing. The rate per day sky-rockets, and I'm willing to bet the rate you're seeing now will come close to being doubled.
The good thing for Florida players (I'm in that group even though I'm located in New York. My brother that lives in Tampa showed up at my front door last Saturday with the two

Florida Holiday Millionaire Raffle 2016
8,000 per day in ticket sales isn't all that bad. Pennsylvania has been selling their raffle tickets at a rate of about 5,900 per day. (In the past, prior to introducing The Early Bird drawings, they sold only about 2,000 per day.) PA will probably sell out, but then they're selling a max of 500,000 tickets.
Don't forget, there's always a huge rush to buy tickets just prior to the drawing. Ticket sales in PA skyrocketed to 20,000 per day about four or five days before the drawing, and I belie

Florida Holiday Millionaire Raffle 2016
Nada here from the first two drawings.
Bought my last raffle ticket 258252.
So far I haven't seen my city in either of the first two draws. Maybe it will show up during the Grand prize drawing? I'm up to a total of 30 raffle tickets now (2 of which got me 2 lotto tshirts =p). I know of some people getting more tickets than me. Wishing everyone the best!

Florida Holiday Millionaire Raffle 2016
Thanks for the updates, folks!
Well, today is the 27th day of sales. Sales are averaging a little over 6,000 per day, with 37 more sales days left. So for a sell-out, sales would have to average 15,000-16,000 per day.
This is looking an awful lot like last year's Raffle. I'm predicting there will not be a sell-out for this Raffle.
