The odds have got to be beyond astronomical....but what if someone won both the PB and MM jackpots?? That would be just amazing and super cool if it was you wouldnt you think?

Unless you are increasing the payback percentage it is all just smoke and mirrors. The lottery makes you believe that your odds are going down to 6.6 but they dont tell you that the cash prize odds are decreasing drastically. They want to churn your free plays over and over again. I sure do not play the lottery for the free quick pick ticket. I would prefer just putting that prize pool to increase the money won from hitting 4 or 5 of six. Yes, sort of. Ok ... my system: I pick 5 white balls, and HB 1 ... same 5 white balls, HB 2 ... all the way through the set ... $19 per drawing. If I get all 5 white balls, I automatically have the HB. I will also have 18 second place wins ... $10,000 per board (unless the lottery people rip me off per the pari-mutual thing). While a simulation shows what will happen overall in a lottery, it also show there will be winners. It's just that the big winners are few and far between and it suggests those winners did nothing different than the losers. Players who continue to do better than the odds might suggest would think differently.

here the big games are powerball and ozlotto, odss of 1 in 76mill, and 45 mill respectively. they only pay out $3 mill nd 2 mill, when ther jack pots start again. i try and play all the games all the time, but when they pull this sort of thing i have to wthdraw my cash and sit on the side lines. i have no will power so by the time the pots roll to $10 mill im usually back in. the thing is the odds on power ball went up from 1 in 54 mill to 1 in 76 mill , and they didint increase the starting

Last christmas I bought raffle tickets for Spanish el gordo on the website TheLotter. The odds were pretty good even though I won nothing, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. Anyways, I was rather dissapointed when my bank statement showed that the payment was to a company in Tel Aviv. Its like a Brazillian buying MegaMillions ticket online and finding out that the payment was to a company in India.

If you mean one individual winning both Jackpots in the same week I think that would definitely be the BIGGER story. I am no mathematician but the odds of accomplishing that in a lifetime much less the same week must be astronomical to the 4th power.
